(Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview dated January 20, 2011)
Fight them until there is no more fitna [tumult or oppression] and the religion is Allah’s alone. If they stop(Surat al-Anfal, 39)
Is this not the way of the Mahdi? What does fitna mean? It means that everywhere that Islam, the Qur’an and Islamic morals do not reach is fitna. Everywhere in which there is no love, compassion and compassion and in which there is terror and anarchy is fitna.
“Fight them until the religion is Allah’s alone.”
Allah tells us to fight them until religious moral values dominate the world in all respects. Do you do that? No. What is this verse describing? The way of the Hazrat Mahdi (as). You ask where in the Qur’an it refers to the way of the Hazrat Mahdi (as). It refers to it here. They want the Qur’an to explicitly state that such and such a person is Hazrat Mahdi (as). That is not how it works. We refer to the leader of the Islamic world as Hazrat Mahdi (as). And we refer to that community, the community that causes the moral value of Islam to rule the world, as the way of the Hazrat Mahdi (as), the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as).
