Surat al-Fatir, 42-43

2017

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on A9TV dated November 29, 2012

Surat al-Fatir, Verse 42

They swore by Allah with their most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them they would be better guided than any other community. But then when a warner did come to them, it only increased their aversion,

“They swore by Allah with their most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them they would be better guided than any other community.” That is to say, they say, “Only if Allah sends us a warner, we will be humble, act in unity and solidarity and make a great effort to do good.” “But then when a warner did come to them,” and because they are so proud, Allah says, “...it only increased their aversion”.

Surat al-Fatir, Verse 43

...shown by their arrogance in the land and evil plotting. But evil plotting envelops only those who do it. Do they expect anything but the pattern of previous peoples? You will not find any changing in the pattern of Allah. You will not find any alteration in the pattern of Allah.

But evil plotting envelops only those who do it”. Allah says, “If you plot, it will enclose you.” “Do they expect anything but the pattern of previous peoples?” Allah says that they will be plagued in the same way the previous generations are plagued. “Do they expect anything but the pattern of previous peoples? You will not find any changing in the pattern of Allah.” Allah says that He will do what He has done previously. Allah says, “This is my Sunnah.” Almighty Allah says that when a leader is sent, they will not be arrogant. When our Prophet (saas) was sent, they said, “Shall we abide by the orphan of Abu al-Qasim?” They wanted the prominent people of one of the two cities to be the leader. When Hazrat Mahdi (as) comes, they do not accept him, producing pretexts such as, “He will come 300 years later”, or “Hazrat Mahdi (as) is a collective personality”. They create the concept of a ghost Mahdi. They reject all the portents of Hazrat Mahdi (as) but there are also some brave ones who meet Hazrat Mahdi (as) with love, joy and enthusiasm.
