Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar’s live interview dated September 6th, 2011
Surat al-Hajj, 11
“Among the people there is one who worships Allah right on the edge.”He prays and recites the names of Allah at night. Melon and rice are lawful and he eats them, and all that is fine. But what about the intellectual struggle on Allah’s path? “We are only human,” he says. “We can only do so much.” What about dedicating himself to Allah? “I am the worst of all of us, so what can I do?” he asks. What does Allah say? “Among the people there is one who worships Allah right on the edge.” He performs those observances that suit him. But he does not embark on those he thinks will create material problems for him or that might involve some social risk. Or things he will not enjoy.
