Prime Minister Erdoğan: Those Days when People with No Money Returned from Hospital Doors are Over

Mr. Adnan Oktar frequently reminds that all patients, especially cancer patients are our responsibility and that they need to be strong in spirit, they need to be taken good care in quality hospitals and treated free of cost.

Likewise Prime Minister Erdoğan, at an opening ceremony of a hospital he attended, gave a speech that they provided important services in healthcare field since day one.

Adnan Oktar: Every patient is our responsibility as nation. Being sick is not a crime, it is an honor, pride and its responsibility is on us. When someone becomes sick, this person, this brother or sister, from that day forth, is entrusted to us. We will take care of him/her, we are responsible for his/her food, drink, comfort, happiness, treatment and everything. Patient shouldn’t be charged, PATIENT WILL GO TO THE MOST QUALITY, THE BEST HOSPITAL, CANCER PATIENT WILL GO TO FIRST CLASS HOSPITAL; THEY WILL RECEIVE THE BEST TREATMENT THERE, THEY WILL BE RESPECTED, LOVED, AND ENTERTAINED IN WIDE LOUNGES. They will have religious conversations, they will have high spirits.

Adnan Oktar: As soon as he arrives (at the hospital) it is necessary to welcome him nicely, saying ‘welcome brother, may Allah give you recovery, what is your complaint’ and let him go with his medication free of charge. All Turkish people are responsible with our patients. How would you tell patient to go take care of himself? How would you tell him to sell his house, sell his car? Is it possible? He is already suffering from a disease; he is in a miserable situation. It’s another strike against him, he hardly survives, it is such a strike that asks for his house, asks for his car. He is punished because of his disease; we are responsible for rewarding him for his disease. Because he is acquiring merit in God’s sight inshaAllah he is being tested by God, it is a great test, we are in a position to help him in this test and acquire merit. Therefore patients are not to be charged, they are to be given money and better means, to be taken to their homes easily.

Prime Minister Erdoğan attended opening ceremony of the biggest hospital of Europe with 2682 inpatient bed capacity and stated as follows:

“My poor brother got hold as a pledge. He got hold as a pledge in the hospital. They said they were populists. The dead got hold as a pledge in this country. How come can a dead man get hold as a pledge for God’s sake? This country has witnessed that too. Treatment was a nuisance, medication was a nuisance. Now we have got all hospitals together under one roof.

What did we say when we came to power? Education and healthcare. These two are very important. First human, we said. Would there be state without human? We prioritized human, state hold secondary importance. We renovated healthcare system. They used to schedule an appointment for X-ray for 6-7 months later. Is there such a trouble now? Those days when people with no money returned from hospital doors are over. They will accept whatever patient comes to their doors immediately.”
