Mayor of Moscow Yuri Lujkov called himself as ‘Mujahid’ who is struggling on behalf of Muslims to allow them to meet their religious requirements in the most comfortable way.
Lujkov was applauded after explaining his struggle in purchasing the estate of Moscow Central Mosque (Merkez Mosque). On the other hand, Vice Chairman of Duma (Russian Parliament) and Liberal Democrat Party Leader Vladimir Jirinovski started his lecture by reciting Bismillah (beginning in the name of God).
Finally Lujkov announced that new mosques are planned to be established in ten seperate regions of Moscow.
