What He Said?What Happened?

In his daily conversations, Mr. Oktar puts emphasis on love; he says that love is a fundemental need for human beings just like air, water, food and accentuates that lack of love lies under each problem in the world.

People from different strata of society have recently started to make speeches about love. Finally, Ömer Faruk Çelik, the AKP Mayor of Şehzadeler district of Manisa, made a speech about love within the scope of a project.

ADNAN OKTAR: Love is presented as something luxurious in the world. That is what satan has taught people for centuries. Now people consider love as something in the distance. However love is a normal need like someone’s daily nourishment.

Once love comes, it immediately settles in one’s heart, it settles in one’s brain. Love already loves people. It loves God; consequently it loves human beings. Once it settles in brain, the brain feels relief. Once it settles in the heart, the heart feels relief; it immediately opens up one’s horizons. It settles in the eye and the eye becomes more beautiful. He starts to have a positive viewpoint. It settles in the tongue and one starts to speak beautilfully. It settles on the vocal cords and the vocal cords generate a more beautiful voice.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a conflict over sharing the world. That is, there is lack of love and they try to communicate with people through violence instead of love and knowledge.

ADNAN OKTAR:  The world is beautiful and it can be easily beautified. Look how much attention they pay to terror and violence. Look how great efforts they make for blood. If they made the same efforts for love, the world would be like heaven in a very short time. But of course what is essential is to love God. God won’t turn the world into heaven unless He is loved.  Love of God and fear of God are essential.

Lovelessness has penetrated everywhere. Love brings about compassion and mercy. Then, you cannot kill anyone, you cannot act despotically. You act with wisdom, you persuade people with love. This is the main requisite for life. Love is like water, it is like breathing. If you cannot breathe you die. In the absence of love also, you die, the world dies, and the universe dies. Without love you can’t survive.

ADNAN OKTAR: Now I see that there is a huge lack of love in the world. It is incredible to see this. This is so difficult, quite difficult. Love is so tasteful. Love cats, love butterflies, love people. What would you lose? You will feel your heart beating, your mind will be clear, you will feel mentally alert. Above all, loving is an act of worship.

ADNAN OKTAR: Some people are always in search of hatred. Hatred against Christians and Jews, hatred against communists, hatred against Armenians… Hatred is endless. We can get nowhere with hatred policy. Live in love and see what you will lose. They don’t even come close to love at any price. Come with compassion and mercy. Allah approves compassion and mercy. Love is the main qualification of a Muslim.

ADNAN OKTAR: The problem is lack of love in the world of Islam as well as all over the world. They are mostly inclined struggles and fights but they are far away from love. However, love is the reason why the universe was created. Love is the original purpose in heaven. Love is what Allah also sets sights on.

Ömer Faruk Çelik, the AKP Mayor of Şehzadeler district of Manisa, said the following during the launch of this project. He said:  "Love comes first. There would be disorder, blood and hatred in the world if it weren’t for love. Today the world needs love more than technology, science and industry. There wouldn’t be blood and tears in the world if we could feel love deeply and shared what we have.”
