The Prime Minister Mr. Erdogan said that they are working on a law involving violence against women and said: “On March 8th, we passed a law that involves serious sanctions in the scope of violence against women. Insha’Allah, we will remove all kinds of scenes involving violence by means of these new laws. We will provide a humane atmosphere for people to live in.” |

A9 TV, December 27th, 2012 Adnan Oktar: I am asking to Prime Minister: Lets make a modification in the law. This problem has reached an enormous extent. Women are sweet beings; they are modest. They fall into the hands of brutal people. An oral statement by a woman revealing she is having problems should be enough for the police to take action. If the police continuously follow these brutal men, they cannot do anything to the women. Sometimes women need to report such things six or seven times. This is not acceptable! Even one report should be enough. People should write petitions involving this topic to the office of the Prime Minister. Let there be a regulation put into effect; when a woman calls 155, the police should immediately drive to her home and take a statement and immediately provide protection to her. I am also surprised when women get close to brutal men. Why do you go with these men? Why do you get close to these men? You see these men do not fear God. If people have not fear of God, then whom do they have fear of? Harun Yahya TV, March 13th, 2010 Adnan Oktar: There are young girls who get killed in the middle of the streets because of jealousy. These men are psychopathic people who bother women. IN SUCH CASES, THE WOMEN REPORT THIS TO THE POLICE BUT THE POLICEMEN ARE NOT INTERESTED IN IT. SO, OUR STATE NEEDS TO PAY GREATER ATTENTION TO THIS ISSUE. IF SOMEONE SAYS, “PROTECT ME”, IMMEDIATELY A GUARD NEEDS TO BE ASSIGNED. SKIP THE BUREAUCRATIC WORK; IF A LADY COME TO YOU AND REQUESTS SAFEGUARDS, THIS MEANS THAT THE SITUATION IS SERIOUS AND YOU SHOULD SUPPLY PROTECTION. THIS IS SO EASY. Destan TV, March 08th, 2009 Adnan Oktar: According to a research from the year 2006, it was reported that domestic violence happens every 26 minutes. That is scandalous. The cases of child abuse, ABUSE OF WOMEN, family sexual harassment, rape, violence and incestous relationships are scarcely reported to the formal authorities. This isa scandal. According to research carried out in Turkey, 57% of women are exposed to physical violence and 47% of women are exposed to sexual violence, 8% of women are raped in the family. This is a major scandal. SO A REASONABLE LAW NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO PRACTICE . |
