RAMADAN 2008 - THE 20th DAY

ARE YOU AWARE YOU ARE LIVING IN A FALSE

You who believe! If you fear [and respect] Allah, He will give you discrimination and erase your bad actions from you and forgive you. Allah's favor is indeed immense. (Surat al-Anfal, 29)

... Those who did not believe invented lies against Allah. Most of them do not use their intellect. (Surat al-Ma'ida, 103)

The likeness of those who do not believe is that of the beast which, call out to it as one may, can hear nothing but a shout and a cry. Deaf-dumb-blind. They do not use their intellect. (Surat al-Baqara, 171)

The worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the deaf and dumb who have no intellect. (Surat al-Anfal, 22)

They know an outward aspect of the life of this world but are heedless of the Hereafter. Have they not reflected within themselves? Allah did not create the heavens and the Earth and everything between them except with truth and for a fixed term. Yet many people reject the meeting with their Lord. (Surat ar-Rum, 7-8)

To humanity the love of worldly appetites is painted in glowing colors: women and children, and heaped-up mounds of gold and silver, and horses with fine markings, and livestock and fertile farmland. All that is merely the enjoyment of the life of this world. The best homecoming is in the presence of Allah. (Surah Al 'Imran, 14)

The life of this world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The Hereafter is better for those who guard against evil. So will you not use your intellect? (Surat al-An'am, 32)

No indeed! But you love this fleeting world and you disregard the Hereafter. (Surat al-Qiyama, 20-21)

There can be no doubt that such behavior will inflict eternal losses upon those who do not reflect upon the magnitude of Allah's words.

Imam Ghazali, a worthy Islamic scholar and man of high wisdom, once issued a reminder on this subject, describing how the transitory blessings of this world were dull and worthless compared to those to be granted by Allah in the Hereafter. Ghazali called upon people to seek the good pleasures of the Hereafter:

… In contrast to those peoples' stations, the ranks of the rulers in this world are small and dull-incomparably so. Allah speaks thus of the sultanate of the Hereafter, "Seeing them, you see delight and a great kingdom [sultanate]" (Surat al-Insan, 20).

Elevate the goods of the Hereafter, which Allah has described as such a great sultanate! Full well you know that the world and those things in it are few and worthless. Life is short, the span of the blessings of this world is short and very brief. Yet we muster our souls and possessions to acquire that very little and enjoy it for so short a time. Some of us achieve this, and others fail but envy those who do. They never look to see how they endanger their souls and possessions to acquire this. (Imam Ghazali, Minhajul Abidin, p. 319)

REAL LIFE LIES IN THE HEREAFTER

It is through the guidance of the Qur'an that people learn the purpose behind their creation. They understand how they should serve Allah and they appreciate the truths about life itself. As set out in the preceding pages, we are informed in the Qur'an that "the true life" is that of the Hereafter. As revealed in the verses, therefore, the world we are living in at present is merely a "diversion," "a place of trial." When a person crosses over to the life of the Hereafter, all that will remain of this world will be brief memories in his or her mind. Compared to the Hereafter, the life of this world resembles "the blink of an eye," as in the following example:

Imagine that you are sitting happily by the banks of a river one lovely spring day. Imagine that a light breeze makes the air cool and refreshing. Can you hear the delightful sound of the bubbling waters? Can you see the wonderful flowers, each more lovely than the last? Imagine that you are talking to a dear friend as you enjoy these beauties; imagine you are smelling the pure scent of the flowers on the air and listening to the sweet chirping of the birds. Imagine that as you are enjoying all these sensations you then wake up and find yourself lying in bed. In such a case, you would realize that everything you imagined to be real was in fact nothing but a dream: a figment of your imagination, which suddenly evaporated.

Let us now imagine the same situation after you have woken up. Let us assume that you really are talking to a dear friend, enjoying all those sights and sounds by the banks of a sublime river.

If someone were to ask "which of the two would you prefer?" after you had experienced both, you would of course say, "the one after I had woken up." The reason is that what goes on in our dreams remains in our dreams and benefits a person nothing in real life. Nobody can seriously feel sorrow at what he or she has lost in a dream since he or she knows that these have no effect on real life. No matter how much delight a person takes in a dream, this can never give as much pleasure as when he or she is awake and in the real world.

He will say: "How many years did you tarry on the Earth?" They will say: "We tarried there for a day or part of a day. Ask those able to count!" He will say: "You only tarried there for a little while if you did but know!" (Surat al-Muminun, 112-114)

Know that the life of this world is merely a game and a diversion and ostentation and a cause of boasting among yourselves and trying to outdo one another in wealth and children: like the plant-growth after rain which delights the cultivators, but then it withers and you see it turning yellow, and then it becomes broken stubble. In the Hereafter there is terrible punishment but also forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion. (Surat al-Hadid, 20)

If anyone desires to cultivate the Hereafter, We will increase him in his cultivation. If anyone desires to cultivate this world, We will give him some of it but he will have no share in the Hereafter. (Surat ash-Shura, 20)

... Say: "Enjoy your unbelief for a little while. You are among the Companions of the Fire." (Surat az-Zumar, 8)

No indeed! We have given these people enjoyment, as We did their fathers, until life seemed long and good to them. Do they not see how We come to the land eroding it from its extremities? Or are they the victors? (Surat al-Anbiya', 44)

Leave them to eat and enjoy themselves. Let false hope divert them. They will soon know. (Surat al-Hijr, 3)

The Respiratory System Special to Insects

Flies fly at extremely high speeds when compared to their size. Dragonflies can travel as fast as 25 mph (40 km/h). Even smaller insects can reach up to 31 mph (50km/h). These speeds are equivalent to humans traveling at the speed of thousands of miles per hour. Humans can only reach these speeds using jet planes. However, when one considers the size of jet planes in comparison to the size of humans it becomes clear that these flies actually fly faster than airplanes.

Jets use very special fuels to power their high-speed engines. The flight of flies, too, requires high levels of energy. There is also a need for large volumes of oxygen in order to burn this energy. The need for great amounts of oxygen is satisfied by an extraordinary respiratory system lodged within the bodies of flies and other insects.

This respiratory system works quite differently from ours. We take air into our lungs. Here, oxygen mixes with the blood and then is carried on to all parts of the body by the blood. The fly's need of oxygen is so high that there is no time to wait for the oxygen to be delivered to the body cells by the blood. To deal with this problem, there is a very special system. The air tubes in the insect's body carry the air to different parts of the fly's body. Just like the circulatory system in the body, there is an intricate and complex network of tubes (called the tracheal system) that delivers oxygen-containing air to every cell of the body.

Thanks to this system, the cells that make up the flight muscles take oxygen directly from these tubes. This system also helps to cool down the muscles which function at such high rates as 1000 cycles per second.

It is evident that this system is an example of creation. No coincidental process can explain an intricate design. It is also impossible for this system to have developed in phases as suggested by evolution. Unless the tracheal system is fully functional, no intermediate stage could be to the advantage of the creature, but on the contrary, would harm it by rendering its respiratory system non-functional.

There is an extraordinary design to even the least significant of creatures such as flies. Any single fly is a miracle that testifies to the flawless design in the creation of God. On the other hand, the "evolutionary process" espoused by Darwinism is far from explaining how a single system in a fly develops.

In the Qur'an, God invites all humans to consider this fact:

Humanity! An example has been made, so listen to it carefully. Those whom you call upon besides God are not even able to create a single fly, even if they were to join together to do it. And if a fly steals something from them, they cannot get it back. How feeble are both the seeker and the sought! (Surat al-Hajj, 73)

On 6 December, 2007, Harper's Magazine, one of America’s best established monthly magazines, carried an article about Atlas of Creation on its web page hosting daily analysis of Washington policy. Published under the caption “New Theory Uncovered in Commerce Secretary Gutierrez’s waiting room: Darwin, not Saddam, behind 9/11,” the report stated that Atlas of Creation was on display for all to see in the waiting room of U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez:

… Written by the Turkish writer Adnan Oktar (under the pen name of Harun Yahya), the Atlas offers an Islamic version of creationism and blames Charles Darwin for modern terrorism–including the 9/11 attacks. A recent visitor to the office tells me that the Atlas is impossible to miss, both because of its huge size–it weighs in at 12 pounds and has nearly 800 pages–and because it is prominently displayed on a stand at the entrance to the room.

The Atlas of Creation can be bought for $99 (plus shipping and handing) through a link from Harun Yahya’s website. A summary says:

“This book provides the reader with not only such information as what fossils are and where and how they are found, but also a closer examination of a variety of fossil specimens, millions of years old, that are still able to declare, “We never underwent evolution; we were created.” The fossils discussed and illustrated in this book are just a few examples of the hundreds of millions of specimens that prove the fact of Creation. And even these few are enough to prove that the theory of evolution is a major hoax and deception in the history of science.”

… A caption from the book, below a photograph of one of the planes striking the World Trade Center, reports: “No matter what ideology they may espouse, those who perpetrate terror over the world are, in reality, Darwinists. Darwinism is the only philosophy that places a value on–and thus encourages–conflict.”

Darwinism is also to blame for fascism and communism. As the Atlas explains, it “is the root of various ideologies of violence that have spelled disaster to mankind in the 20th century.” …

Survey: 9/10 Americans Believe in God and Reject the Theory of Evolution / The Christian Post Web Site / 02.04.2007

A report containing the details of a survey conducted by Newsweek described how 91% of the adult population of the USA believe in God and how around half do not regard evolution as a scientific theory.

If My servants ask you about Me, I am near . I answer the call of the caller when he calls upon Me. They should therefore respond to Me and believe in Me, so that hopefully they will be rightly guided. (Surat al-Baqara, 186)

We created man and know what his own self whispers to him. We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (Surat al-Qaf,16)

... So ask His forgiveness and then repent to Him. My Lord is Close and Quick to Respond. (Surah Hud, 61)

Say: “If I am misguided, it is only to my detriment. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-Hearing, Close-at-hand.” (Surah Saba, 50)

In this interview Mr. Adnan Oktar  stated his point of view regarding policts and declared that he has stood aloof from it. He had affirmed that he was an author depicting Islam and the unity of Allah.  He had stressed on the importance of the unity of the Islamic world, the formation of the great Islamic Union under the leadership of Turkey, Turkey’s halting the anarchy and terror as the super power in the region and on Turkey’s duty to exquisitely protect and watch for the whole Islamic world as their big brother. 

Mr.Adnan Oktar had also stated his opinions about the Freemasonry. He had also stated that the Islamic world had a profound intellectual and spiritual support on his works and studies. Mr.Oktar had declared that the moral values of Islam will sway the world in 10-20 years. He had also declared in detail that the Shiites and Sunna discrimination is a Masonic ruse.     Mr. Adnon Oktar had stated that Shiites are exquisitely pure, tame, clean and sound Muslims and that the people of Sunna was the same as well. They stated that they have no difference in between them. They all are the people of Kiblah.  Mr.Adnan Oktar by the end of the interview had sent his love and effection and greetings to the whole Islamic world.

 

THE MAHDI IS A DESCENDENT OF THE PROPHET ABRAHAM (Peace Be Upon Him)

In the End Times, when chaos and strife reach their fiercest level, when people are as far removed from religious moral values as they can possible be, when degeneration is at a peak, our Lord will send the Mahdi–“he who gives the way to salvation.” With his powerful love and fear of Allah Who has sent him to fulfil this important task, the Mahdi will be a means of salvation for the whole world. By Allah’s will, the Mahdi will be successful in this duty, as is written in his destiny, and will cause religious moral values to reign supreme. For that reason, the appearance of the blessed Mahdi will be the greatest event in history, and it is mentioned in all the sacred scriptures. As is mentioned in the Qur’an, the Old and New Testaments, the Psalms and the pages of Prophet Abraham (pbuh) are scriptures sent down to prophets who lived in past centuries. A portion of these books has been lost, and what remains has been corrupted or altered. Nonetheless, they still contain many passages that are fully compatible with the true religion. When we look at those passages in these books that are in agreement with the verses of the Qur’an and the hadith of our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), we see that the coming of the blessed Mahdi has been known and spoken of for thousands of years. Many events that are taking place in our own time show that this sacred age that has been awaited for centuries has finally begun. All sincere believers have a major responsibility to make everyone aware of this crucial subject and to provide spiritual support for this holy individual, the blessed Mahdi.

WHAT DARWINISTS NEVER REALIZE

1-Darwinists never realize that the way birds fly in a “V” formation in order to save energy can never be explained in terms of blind chance.

2-Darwinists never realize that they are unable to explain how it is that the humming bird, whose heart beats 500 to 1,200 times a minute all throughout the day, is not burned to ashes because of the heat that should normally come out with such a heartbeat rate. They never realize how at night it enters a state like winter hibernation, its heart rate ceases and it even stops breathing, and how the bird thus almost hibernates 365 times a year.

3-Darwinists never realize how fish living in the icy water at the Poles possess a gene producing a protein that reduces the temperatures of the ice crystals in their skin to -20oC and how thanks to this protein they are able to use the oxygen molecules in the ice crystals and thus avoid freezing.

4-Darwinists never realize how swimming birds have an oil gland where the tail joins onto the body that they are easily able to use to coat their feathers with their beaks in order to keep their feathers water-resistant.

5-Darwinists never realize how the presence of digestive fluids in the stomachs of animals that feed on plant materials is insufficient to digest these substances, for which reason such animals also have special bacteria that break down the foodstuffs in their stomachs.

6-Darwinists never realize how a chameleon changes color to match its surroundings, how it assumes the same color even though it cannot see itself, and that chance cannot endow an animal devoid of consciousness with the ability to change color for defensive purposes.

7-Darwinists never realize how the nitrogen cycle, one of the main elements that make life on Earth possible, is achieved by bacteria so small that they can only be seen under a microscope.

8-Darwinists never realize that the amount of information in the DNA of a single bacterium is equivalent to 20 novels of 100,000 words each.

9-Darwinists never realize how it is possible that venom produced by the bacteria living in the intestines of the puffer fish extends as far as its muscles but does not harm the fish itself and how it simply protects it against predators.

10-Darwinists never realize that, apart from green plants on Earth, algae capable of making photosynthesis absorb a 30% level of carbon dioxide and meet 70% of the planet’s oxygen needs.
