Russian President Dmitri Medvedev took some information from Ravil Gainutdin, chairman of the Mufti Council of Russia about the situation while he visited the old mosque with his shoes off. After the visit, Medvedev asked Moscow Municipality and other institutions to make things easier for the future mosque constructions.
