Japan embraces Islam

There are 100 Islamic Institutes and Foundations scattered around the country as well as 180 mosques present in Japan. The mosques are always crowded with Japanese people who would like to learn more about Islam.

Muslim population in Japan is estimated around 350, 50 thousand of which are Japanese. Japanese people have met Islam in the time of Ottoman Empire and to the delight of Islamic world, where Islam is rapidly on the rise.
