British Physician Embraced Islam

British Physician James Evans, working in Adana Turkey, applied Cukurova Office of the Mufti to convert to Islam.

During the Conversion Ceremony at the Mufti’s Office, Dr. James Evans embraced Islam by reciting the Kalima Shahada. The preachers of the Mufti’s Office Mahmut Bektas and Hatice Sumer witnessed this glorious moment. Dr. Evans changed his name to Ahmet. The Mufti Abdullah Demir presented Dr. Evans with the conversion certificate, some books covering Islam and the Holy Qur’an. Dr Evans kissed the Holy Qur’an.
