Iftar fervor in Germany

Islamic Community of North Germany (BIG)  hosted an iftar (fast breaking dinner) in Hamburg.
Ramazan Ucar, President of BIG, gave a lecture during the iftar and stated that Ramadan is a significant month for Muslims as it emphasizes unity, cooperation and brotherhood.

Ucar also added that Muslims living in Germany always desire to live in harmony and be in good relations with their German neighbours.

Ramadan Ucar also expressed his wish that they would like to have in good relations with the new premier for German state of Hamburg; Christoph Ahlhaus, as they used to have in the time of the former premier Ole von Beust.
