The coalition agreement, signed by North Rhine-Westphalia’s Premier Hannelore Kraft, places prior space to the compatibility issue of the immigrants within the state. Among the priorities of the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia, there is a right of voting for the immigrants who come from the countries non-member of EU and also the acception of dual nationality. Besides these, the plan also consists of officially recognizing Islam in the State. Kraft expresses that there are around 1 million 200 thousand Muslims living in North Rhine-Westphalia; so the state and the Islamic organizations need to form a constructive association for a successful compatibility.
