Mishpacha, one of the most important publications of religious Jews followed by rabbis throughout the world, noted the Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, Yisrael Meir Lau’s visit with Mr. Adnan Oktar in the item published in its edition of October 26th, 2011. (You can watch Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview with Chief Rabbi Lau on A9 television from here.)
In the article titled “Peace Summit in Istanbul”, the importance and meaning of this visit was discussed for eight pages. Some of the highlights from the article were as follows:
Millions of people are watching this meeting. The representatives of two poles whose union appears to be impossible are sitting on both sides of the table.” [Adnan Oktar said:] “There will be harmony and peace in the region. We are in the time of the Mashiach and when he comes he will bring the promised peace and he will be a hope for all people…”
Chief Rabbi Lau said: “This is the essence of Judaism and we are praying for this. God created the whole world, there is no Darwinism or evolution. This is the first fundamental of faith. Then we believe in all the Prophets and we believe in the coming of the Mashiach. Even if he is late, we wait for him every day. Muslims have been waiting for the coming of the Messiah for 1,400 years, but we have been waiting for the Messiah for 4,000 years…”
Adnan Oktar said, “There will be no blood and violence with the Mashiach. When the world is more religious, there is no doubt that there will be more peace. Truly when a person is under the influence of religion, a person cannot spill blood and apply violence.” In addition, he said “God forbid, Turkey never harms anyone, there is no anti-semitism here. Do you know what my advice is for Jews? They should be more religious. Then the result will be better”.
