MPL TV, 23 Nisan 2008 Adnan Oktar: For one thing, Turkey has experience of state. Experience of empire, in other words. It has experience of administering countries. And the ability to do so. The Turkish nation has also remained quite sterile. Anatolian moral values have not been impaired. Anatolia has been preserved. That hospitality, cleanliness, moral virtue, warmth, humanity, neighborliness, compassion and concept of altruism have all remained in tact. Europe has lost it ... Europe need not be alarmed... IT IS A SALVATION FOR EUROPE. It will also be like Europe’s gendarme, the Turkish-Islamic Union. BECAUSE IT WILL BE AN INSTITUTION THAT PROTECTS EUROPE AND THE WORLD AND BRINGS THE WORLD PEACE AND SECURITY. EUROPE WILL LIVE IN PEACE AND PROSPERITY. Why should Europe not desire that? Nothing will be any different. This system will also support Nato and the European Union. THIS IS A GREAT BLESSING FOR THE EU. BECAUSE THANKS TO THIS, EU WILL BECOME ENORMOUSLY WEALTHY. The affection of the Turkish-Islamic Union will enfold them. They will live in peace. Adnan Oktar: The EU is an excellent and most necessary union. Turkey must join it, but not in this form. As the leader of the Turkish-Islamic world. IT MUST JOIN IT AS A SUPER STATE, A BRIDGE TO EUROPE. IN THAT EVENT THE EU WILL BE A THOUSAND TIMES GREATER THAN IT IS NOW. AMERICA WILL BE TWO THOUSAND TIMES GREATER THAN IT IS NOW. Russia will be able to relax, and China will be able to relax. All our neighbors will relax. Israel will enjoy a new dawn. The Middle East will be a paradise for them. They will be much better off. It is the Turkish nation that will bring about the finest peace, security and love in Turkey. That is how it was in Ottoman times, and how it is now. Allah has so charged the nation, insha’Allah. |
Tarık Ramazan, one of the leading academics at the Oxford University Institute for Islamic Research, said “Turkey is of great value to the EU, and most not be ignored.” Ramazan expressed the following views in an article for the Guardian newspaper: “Turkeys military and economic power must be integrated into European political life. 40% of the Turkish population is in any case European in origin. Millions of Turks already bear the passports of EU member countries.” |
Europe will be strengthened at such time as Turkey joins the EU Turkish Foreign Minister Davutoğlu said that through the revolutions it has silently carried out over recent years, Turkey had become a regional player, and that Europe will now stand in need of us. An article by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu’was published on the Discussion page of daily Dagens Nyheter, one of Sweden’s major newspapers. The paper used a comment from Foreign Minister Davutoğlu’s article, which set out his views concerning Turkey’s importance to the EU, as its caption for the piece, “Europe will be strengthened as such time as Turkey joins the EU.” |
