This report, that our Prophet (saas) provided in a hadith 1,400 years ago, refers to the recent invasion of Azerbaijan. Following the Armenians’ laying claim to Nagorno-Karabakh and the Azeris’ beginning to demand independence, a massacre took place in Azerbaijan. Hundreds of Azeri Muslims were martyred on 20 January, 1990, as the result of a plot by masons and atheist zionists.
Fire was opened on unarmed, civilian Azeris, and under the Gorbachev administration all exit points out of Baku were blocked by the Red Army using tanks and personnel carriers. The city was also exposed to fire from the Russian Fleet on the Caspian Sea.
Troops entering the city killed hundreds of people with fire from tanks or naval ships, and thousands of Azeris were injured. Many Azeris were crushed beneath Russian tanks. The streets flowed with the blood of martyrs. And Azeris were not permitted to collect the martyred and wounded on the streets. Those attempting to offer help were fired on, electricity supplies to the hospitals were cut off and the injured were operated on by candlelight.
Russian tanks opened fire on and destroyed everything in their path in Azatlik Square, regarded as the center of the independence movement. A national state of emergency was declared and thousands of pro-independence Azeris were detained.
Terrible disasters took place during these incidents in Azerbaijan. This, as revealed by our Prophet (saas) in the hadith, is another of the portents of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as).
Through this provocation and violence, global freemasonry and atheist zionist caused a rift between the Armenians and Azerbaijan. But with the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as), this will give way to friendship, peace and brotherhood. All this suffering will be healed and an age of brotherhood, friendship and enlightenment will commence.
