Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kackar TV dated October 6, 2010
But as for those who believe and do right actions, We will not let the wage of good-doers go to waste. (Surat al-Kahf, 30)
The “good-doers.” We must notice this language in the Qur’an. Abjad calculation gives the year 2062. A time when Islam will literally rule the world. A magnificent period that nobody can deny.
They will have Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them. They will be adorned in them with bracelets made of gold and wear green garments made of the finest silk and rich brocade, reclining there on couches under canopies. What an excellent reward! What a wonderful repose! (Surat al-Kahf, 31)
This refers to Paradise. Human beings have a predisposition to love gold. It refers to silk, but the finest silk is preferable. It speaks of brocade, but the rich brocade is best, it literally hypnotizes people. Green is one of the colors that human beings like best. Allah has covered the Earth in green. The Earth looks all green when seen from a distance. Human nature desires couches and canopies to recline against. People want to sit down and rest their backs. People who go to Paradise will see couches there. And they will rush to recline on them. But unless they know the fatigue of this world they may never appreciate this blessing. They will not want to sleep during their first 24 hours in Paradise. Nor will sleep come in their second 24 hours. For example, there are cats and dogs in this world, but one cannot love them as one wants. You cannot kiss them on the lips for example, but the cats in Paradise are spotlessly clean, and very intelligent, they know all about love.
