Interview with Abdullah Özdoğan, 2 March, 2008

Adnan Oktar: Idea, love, affection, mercy, democracy, freedom of thought, excitement will generate this excellence. I mean, a complete freedom, a complete environment of love will occur. In civilization, there will be a marvelous advance and activity in terms of science and art. As you know in the early stages of Islam such developments took place in culture, science and art. This time, the development will be worldwide. A marvelous civilization will occur. You are young, so we will witness this all together insa’Allah.

American Public TV, December 19th 2008

Adnan Oktar: In the entire world, Muslims have just begun to understand the Qur’an. And they just started living by the rules of Islam. For example, in Syria, in Palestine communist regimes, that is Stalinist ideology was predominant. The communists were predominant in the Turkish world as well. The Islamic world has just started getting clear of these communist, Darwinist and materialist ideologies. I mean they have just become free from this sickness, and the Islamic world has just started recovering. And from now on they will advance in civilization, science, modernity, art and goodness. This will happen at the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as). The hadiths of our Mohammad (saas) already revealed that the Islamic world was to experience such periods of collapse, pain and interregnum. And now this age of unrest is over. Now, the age of enlightenment and goodness started. That period you mentioned has just ended in the near past. From now on, there will be an age of continuous enlightenment, progression and resurgence.

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan: The Golden Age of Islam will be revived.

I could not stop wondering about the reason why Muslims are far away from building magnificent cities or works of art that fascinate people. I thought about the golden ages of Islamic geography such as 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th or 14th centuries, and why can Islamic world not continue this power in 20th and 21st century. I also thought about that while Islamic world was leading the humanity with great ideas and discoveries, from medicine to astronomy, from algebra to geometry, from physics to geography in almost every field, why does the Islamic world not lead today’s world with such ideas and discoveries? Of course, every night ends with a morning as every morning ends with a night. I am quite sure that every civilization, country and nation also has nights and mornings. One day this great civilization that has contributed to the history, science and common culture of humanity will return back to its origin, and attain its actual place in the world.
