Mr. Bekir Bozdağ: We have left behind the understanding of the Government Intervening in Matters of Appearance

In his interviews,  Mr. Adnan Oktar is constantly drawing attention to the fact that women should be free. He  reminds us that the women with or without head scarf, or wearing low-cut dresses,  are all equal and  beautiful  Muslims.

Thus recently a lot of people have  also mentioned  the same topic that Mr. Adnan Oktar has been talking about constantly.

ADNAN OKTAR: Our nation is beautiful, Turkey is also very beautiful but the system has to be democratic. Strict attention should be paid to this. There can be people from any kind of belief. If you insist the religion is wrong and say “Believe the way I believe”, then you ruin everything, it would be very wrong. Master Tayyip pays strict attention to democracy but my humble advice is, the spirit of Hazrat Mahdi (as), is showing love to all the thoughts and beliefs.

Because look,  there are no hadiths about the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) saying “Pray like this, fast like that”.  There is justice, but a perfect justice, perfect social justice, economic relief, liberty; but at the utmost, enormous safety,  glorious love, glorious sense of art, amazing enthusiasm.

They can cover their head or they can wear low-cut dresses.  An image of  the  government that believes  the people must cover their heads would be very wrong. People should do anything on their own way.  Religion would develop in such an environment. Oppression deranges the people.

For example I look at the ladies, the ones standing alone are usually the ones that don’t cover their heads, the ladies who cover their heads are very rare.  They are afraid, they say; “What if they force me to cover my head?”, or “What if I cover my head because of neighborhood pressure?”. Imagine if they cover their head because they are afraid, imagine the hatred they would be full of. They would feel very disturbed. They would feel anger anytime they go out. Is it necessary? There should be an infinite freedom.

ADNAN OKTAR: It is the same, if they love their country and nation that it doesn't matter if they cover their heads or not. We hold those women who cover their heads in high esteem. Also we hold the women who don’t cover their heads in high esteem, too. It is important to emphasise on having faith.

ADNAN OKTAR: We have very right-minded, full of love and affectionate sisters who cover their heads and wear the burqa. Those women who don’t cover their heads and  the ones who cover their heads must see each other  as sisters and Muslims. They should believe that all of them are pious, clean and virtuous Muslims. Of course it is important to have the spirit of love, brotherhood and compassion.  Our young ladies are like flowers. The teenage girls who don’t cover their heads, and the ones who wear low-cut dresses, they wear beautiful and sparkling clothes. The women who cover their heads are also very cute, they are very beautiful. They wear very clean clothes. They can be friends, how nice is tha?. Everybody can wear what they wish. People can believe in both of them. Hatred is a very scary thing, anger is a very scary thing.

Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Bekir Bozdağ, explained that they have moved away from  the previous of the government dictating  appearances and he said; “We have left behind the understanding of the government saying; ‘I intervene in your beard or moustache, your heels, your make up, I intervene  if you cover your head or not, and if you don’t obey these laws, I will make  life unbearable for you, and you cannot earn your bread in this country’”.
