ADNAN OKTAR:  Now, if there is such a great idea, if there is a big case, if there is a small but intellectually significant party, then the government should support it.  We pay our taxes. What do we say “This may be delivered to all the parties equally.” No matter how old  the party is; the parties should be helped considering a lot of things.

Lets’s  write a petition to Mr.Tayyip Erdoğan and also, we should write to the ministry. This is very easy. The government should help  the small parties.

ADNAN OKTAR: It is very irritating. My dears  marched. My dears are leaving their works and coming to the streets . They are getting the day off and they are coming. This is very difficult. They may be supported by the public purse. Do they not tax me as a citizen? I want them to be aided by the public purse. This is so clear. For example, they say “It's only a minor party”. Okay, if it is small, then give them according to its small size. Let them use it for their activities. They want to do services, they want to do beautiful things. Both money and time are required for this.  Support for the party will relax them.

We may insist on stating this to Mr.Tayyip Erdogan. He is a fair man, a caring human being. Especially since the Great Union Party (Buyuk Birlik Partisi) is a historic party, a great party. It is a party like its name. It is a party with a great meaning. Support is essential.

Prime Minister Erdogan has finally announced the “Democratization Packet” that was long been on the agenda. One of the items  is concerned with the expansion of the scope of  government aid to  political parties.

“We are doing the second arrangement in the fields of political rights in the government aid to  political parties. We are expanding the scope of  government aid to the political parties. We are changing the 1st addition item of the 'Law Regarding Political Parties’; we are lowering the current rate for  government aid from  7% of the vote to 3%.

So, government aid will also be given to  political parties that have participated in  elections and got more then 3% of the vote, from the combined fund of the public purse. We believe that will also strengten our political parties, that participation will be enhanced and this will contribute to political competition becoming more just. “
