East-West Alteration of the 22 Governors

ADNAN OKTAR: There will be a Laz governor and a Bosniac governor, as well. Our Kurdish brothers will also come to Istanbul and serve as a governor. Kurdish person will go to Izmir and serve as a governor in there. There won’t be any racial superiority, racial hegemony on the region. For example, there isn’t anything like there must be a Laz governor in Black Sea. There must be a Kurdish governor or a bosniac governor in Black Sea. Laz governor should go to Diyarbakır and do his duty as a governor. The racial superiority claim, love that depends on a race, to value people depending on their races, this is so terrific. We are all the Moslems, we are the children of prophets. Superiority is only by piety. What does our Prophet (pbuh) say, “An Arab has no superiority over a Persian and a Persian has no superiority over an Arab. Superiority is only by piety.”

ADNAN OKTAR: We don’t want any separation. We want to live with our brothers happily. That kind of a thing will annoy us. I said; Laz governor to Mardin, Kurdish governor to Samsun. That’s it. We are brothers and we will coalesce. What does this mean “Kurdish can manage Kurdish. Cherkes will manage Cherkes. How could this be possible? That racism, that lovelessness that lack of affection. No matter what the races are, we love creatures because of a Creator. Isn’t he a servant of God? He is a saintly looking Muslim, he is our gleamy face brother. On the other hand, we are mixed as races. There isn’t any pure Kurdish or Turk or Laz. In other words, we are on the bridge. For instance, our blood has already been mixed by every kind of races.

ADNAN OKTAR: A governor should come from the Black Sea and serve as a governor. A Kurdish brother should come from Mardin and be a our President, Minister of the Interior and Director General of Police. They should come from Diyarbakır, Siirt, Mardin… Our brothers in Izmir will go and serve as a governor in Samsun. We are a whole. Why is there a need for a Kurdish governor to serve to a Kurdish place or a Laz governor needed to a serve to a Laz place? Where does this myth come from? Mardin, Siirt, Urfa are probably cities that our most loved ones are from. I don’t have any intention to go there with passport. A governor who goes there should be a Bosniac or Laz. Let us combine and love each other. We are a single community. We can change Mardin like Paris and Diyarbakır as London. But this cannot happen in a situation like this. When I travel in Mardin, I should come across to a Laz, a Cherkes, an Abkhasian. They are my beautiful brothers. What is this need of a pure race? Why should the Southeastern region consist of only Kurdish people. Why should the Black Sea region consists of only Laz people? We are brothers, this kind of a thing is impossible.

22 province’s governors are changed by a bylaw approved by the President Abdullah Gul. In alterations among the east and the west, the governor of Konya is assigned to Van, the governor of Van is assigned to Bursa and the governor of Iskenderun is assigned to Artvin.
