Werner Faymann, Chancellor of Austria, met with some prominent people of Muslim community at a dinner in Eid al-fitr. There are also Turkish people among them. The dinner that was organized at the Prime Minister’s Office also hosted prominent religious people from the Catholic, the Orthodox, the Jewish, the Assyrian and the Armenian Sects.
During the dinner, the Chancellor stressed that “Lets make the values stronger that unite us.”
The Chancellor Faymann also explained that they have established very positive dialogues with the Islamic Community in Austria and stated that they decided to strengthen the dialogue and collaboration between them and the Muslim Community who makes preparations to celebrate the 100th anniversary of it’s being recognized formally as of next year. He also added that they work on the opportunities to provide employment for the young people.
