Those who think they see the distant stars in the sky actually see the stars inside their minds

ADNAN OKTAR: How did the universe come into existence? The real shape of the universe is actually metaphysical. We can only tell the shape we see, or the shape God wants us to see. Otherwise, it is metaphysical. When we look at the universe, space, we only see what is inside our minds. What universe? No one can look at the universe. There is no person that can see the universe. Everyone sees what is inside his brain. From the time of the Prophet Adam (pbuh), every single entity, including angels and the jinni, merely see what is inside their mind. No one can see the true universe; we only see the image of the universe inside our minds. People raise their heads looking up at the sky and say, "Oh my God, look at the vast stars." So, where do you see this image? "I see it inside my mind," they reply. What is it that you see? You are talking about the image inside your brain. And where is your brain? "It is within the image too," they say. Then it means that there is something peculiar about this. In other words, the universe is something people cannot truly grasp. God exists; this is a clear and evident fact. But God conceals Himself behind 70,000 veils. The conscientious people can see him through all those veils. Otherwise, God conceals Himself from negligent people in this way. In other words, negligent people cannot see God. Believers can see, understand God by unveiling that curtain. Believers are granted the ability to unveil that curtain. God opens that curtain for believers. But negligent people remain behind that curtain, they are unable to see God.
