In his interviews, Mr. Adnan Oktar has said for several years that the PKK is adopting a policy in the Southeast, which is based on fear, and our Kurdish brothers are not free and they keep their silence against the PKK’s threats because their lives are in danger and so they vote for them. After Mr. Oktar’s explanations, many similar explanations came from others. Yeni Şafak writer and AKP MKYK member Yasin Aktay explained that the PKK pressures Kurds and said, ‘The PKK says; If you don’t vote for me, than you would pay with your life’. A9 TV: October 30th, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: If intimidation by weapon ends, everything will be all right. But you are putting your gun to his forehead and killing his family and children. So he is afraid. The reason why they vote for the HDP is because they are afraid of the weapons, afraid of the PKK. They are asking, ‘Who did you vote for?’ He is forced to tell. And also they are saying, ‘Go to the village square and tell them who you are going to vote for’. And he says very loudly, ‘I am going to vote for the HDP’. And he says, ‘Everybody vote for them’. And he can never repair his words after that. How can he say, ‘Don’t believe me, I lied to him’; they would immediately hang him. A9 TV: February 24th, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: Frankly, to be sincere, Öcalan was forgotten. Öcalan was seated in his chair with crutches and with special help. Abdullah Öcalan is one of the most despised men in the Middle East. You wouldn’t find even 10 people who love him sincerely. It is all because of the fear, the violence and propaganda. The PKK gave everybody the pictures of Abdullah Öcalan and said, ‘Go to the square with this picture’, so they say, ‘We love him very much’. Nobody loves him, and nobody takes him seriously, and nobody sees him as a leader. He is an imprisoned man, and a man in prison cannot be a leader, and he cannot get out of prison. And self-government, a federal system, this will not happen. They should forget it. And we wouldn’t let them establish a communist state in the Southeast. Our brothers in the Southeast suffered a lot, so we hope they have the most powerful freedom, the most beautiful modernity. And we can do self-sacrifice; let’s make our investments there instead of here. Samsun Aks TV: September 22nd, 2010 ADNAN OKTAR: Our people don’t want to split up. And our people in the Southeast accept that under threat, it seems like that. None of them accepts it. For example some children didn’t go to school for a while, how could they? Think about it for a second, they may destroy your home at night, they may stage a suicide attack, they may riddle your house with holes, they can do everything. Our people, our brothers in the Southeast are overwhelmed by trouble. And they hate PKK and they hate alleged terror organization known as Ergenekon, they hate both of them. The alleged terror organization known as Ergenekon showed itself as the state. We are the government and we are doing this on behalf of the government. You are not the state. It showed itself as the government and it incited our citizens against the real state. They projected an image like, ‘The government pulverizes you like this, it hurts you like that, it humiliates you’. Our people, our brothers there, just understood the game which is played. They understood that, the government is very compassionate, and the ones who do that are the members of the alleged terror organization known as Ergenekon. |
