Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations declared that Muslims should be taken as role models in terms of  family structure and marriage.

During a meeting with the Orthodox youth from Caucasus in Moscow, Metropolitan Hilarion emphasized the changes in church-state and Christian family structure and complain about the loss of the family values  in the country that leads to a great increase in divorcements.
