On first official visit to US, Israel President Reuven Rivlin addressed black Christian leaders in Brooklyn at Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center, a predominately black megachurch and the largest church in New York City.
Rivlin said, “I dream that Jerusalem, which is a microcosm for the world, will serve as a model for coexistence between different communities and religions. We, the Christians, Jews and Muslims, are the children of Abraham; we can, along with all those who profess different faiths see the fulfillment of the vision of the Prophet Isaiah, that a people shall not raise the sword against another people, and there will no more be war.”
In 2011, Mr Adnan Oktar’s representatives met Reuven Rivlin at the Knesset in Jerusalem and Rivlin was presented Adnan Oktar’s book, “A call for unity” and the message that the members of Abrahamic religions must be brothers was conveyed at this meeting. At the below picture you may see Reuven Rivlin, who was the president of the Knesset at that time, with Harun Yahya’s book “A call for unity.”
