Muslim Woman Is Moderate and Well-Balanced
A Muslim woman acquires a firm and superior personality as she complies with the morality of the Qur’an. As she takes the Qur’an and our Prophet’s (saas) Sunnah as the sole guides for herself, her attitudes and responses always comply with the morality of Islam. This grants her a moderate and well-balanced personality. Her acts, viewpoint and rationale in the face of incidents never become a matter of surprise for people around her. Her wisdom, conscience, attitudes and speeches always reflect the steadiness brought by the morality of the Qur’an. And therefore, she displays a reliable character. As a result of this steadiness in her morality and personality, she assumes an attitude that is distant to the female character in societies that do not live by the Qur’an.
A Muslim Woman Does Not Display an Emotional Personality
Being emotional is not considered as a negative behavior in the societies where religious morality does not prevail. For this reason base forms of morality such as resentment, grievance, crying, turning in on oneself, envy and anger are encouraged, on the grounds that these are the “humane” emotions.
However this rationale is utterly incorrect. Emotional character observed in the women living in societies distant to the morality of the Qur’an is a consequence of weak personality. People are driven by their emotions as they do not conduct themselves rationally. As a result they find themselves in a position of not thinking properly and arriving to pertinent decisions.
A Muslim woman, on the other hand, conducts her life and personality in compliance with the morality of the Qur’an and therefore has the most accurate information on this particular feature of lower-self and on fighting against it. She knows that being under the influence of emotions prevents her from rational thinking and renders people weak and powerless. She is aware that sentiment, sorrow, crying, swearing, anger, jealousy, turning in on oneself are the attitudes identified with the female character of the societies distant from the morality of the Qur’an and thus are not becoming of a true believer. Furthermore, they know that avoiding such base forms of morality and showing a strong personality would ecome a good example for those women having such a flaw in their characters and thus they always comport themselves with this responsibility in mind.
