The Website Scotsman.com Reported Mr. Adnan Oktar"s Statements Regarding The End Of The World

The website Scotsman.com of Scotland reported some of Mr. Adnan Oktar’s comments regarding the end of the world on February 28, 2012. Mr. Adnan Oktar’s statements are quoted as follows:

"Muslims have also been offering their own eschatological interpretations. Prominent among these is Harun Yahya, an influential Turkish Islamic scholar whose books are among the most widely published in the Muslim world, and who is a militant proponent of creationist views.

A few years ago, Yahya predicted Jesus Christ would return in the next 20 to 25 years. He more recently claimed the appearance of Imam Mahdi, a religious figure Muslims believe will arrive closer to the End Times, is in a way related to the current situation in Syria.

Yahya said: "Our Prophet (saas) has foretold in great detail that such events will take place in Syria, in the time of Mahdi that is the time of the King Messiah…he did so by defining the place and the incidents. These incidents going on in Syria are among the portents of the appearance of Mahdi as well.""
