Turkey has the duty to dialogue with Hamas According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, during Mubarak’s visit to Istanbul the need for the immediate establishment of a national unity government by securing compromise between Hamas and the PLO in Palestine was emphasized as being the most important issue. In that context, the Egyptian side forwarded its desire for contacts with Hamas to be carried out by Turkey. |
