Repeating the Words Insha’Allah and Masha’Allah Is a Sign of the Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as)
ADNAN OKTAR: Insha’Allah and masha’Allah are very fine. Those who repeat those words will rule the world, insha’Allah. And it is a stamp of the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as), insha’Allah and masha’Allah. It is their seal. And since we are followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as), it is also our seal; insha’Allah and masha’Allah.
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Make Use of Technology
The followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will make use of the internet and satellite imaging systems and thus be able to see anywhere in the world they wish to, instantaneously.
HAZRAT MAHDI’S (AS) FOLLOWERS WILL HAVE THE POWER TO TRAVERSE THE ENTIRE EARTH WITHIN MOMENTS. (Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol:1, p. 144)
Another hadith suggests that these people specially chosen and readied by Allah will be able to come to Hazrat Mahdi (as) very quickly by airplane or other such rapid means of transport, having heard his addresses in various parts of the world by means of radio and television.
Imam Sadik (as) said: He [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] will stand between the Corner and the Station of Abraham and will call out in a loud voice: “O my representatives, my special friends, O THOSE WHOM ALLAH PREPARED IN THE WORLD IN ORDER TO HELP ME BEFORE I CAME, obey and come to me.” They WILL HEAR THE VOICE OF IMAM MAHDI (AS), WHETHER THEY ARE IN EAST OR WEST, AT HOME OR AT THE MIHRABB (THE NICHE IN A MOSQUE INDICATING THE DIRECTION OF MECCA). His voice alone WILL REACH THE EARS OF ALL OF THEM AND THEY WILL ALL MOVE TOWARD HIM. THEY WILL ALL ENTER HIS PRESENCE BEFORE MUCH TIME HAS PASSED, IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. This (great assemblage) will take place between the Corner and the Station of Abraham (before sunrise).” (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 53, p. 7)
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Cross the Bosphorus Bridge and Travel by Plane
... [The followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as)] WILL WALK ON WATER AND TRAVEL ABOVE THE CLOUDS... (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 318; Mikyaal al-Makaarem, Vol. 1, p. 148 from Basaaer al-Darajaat)
This hadith handed down from our Prophet (saas) indicates that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will travel widely to spread the information they obtain from Hazrat Mahdi (as), that they will be in such a constant state of motion that they will cross the bridge over the Bosphorus and travel by plane.
Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) Followers Will Be Select Individuals
The followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be very select people in the society in which they live.
The followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be noble and well educated. (Al-Malaahem wa al-Fetan, p. 205)
Another hadith notes that many people will come to Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) side, but that the majority will be weeded out because Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be engaged in a very difficult intellectual struggle requiring much sacrifice. In such a climate the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will naturally be weeded out and consist of just a very few select individuals.
Those coming to him will inevitably be SELECTED and PASSED THROUGH A SIEVE. THE MAJORITY OF THEM WILL NOT PASS THROUGH THE SIEVE.” (Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, pp. 299)
Abu Bashir says: Imam Muhammad Bakr said: "... THEY WILL BE CLEANSED AND WEEDED OUT, SO THAT A COMMUNITY REMAINS THAT CORRUPTION WITHIN THEM CAN NEVER HARM.” (Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, p. 245)
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Resemble One Another Very Closely, and External Observers Will Think They Are Brothers
"It is as if I see them; THEY OBEY TO HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) AS BEING IN THE SAME COMPLEXION, THE SAME HEIGHT, THE SAME FACE AND THE SAME DRESS ….” (Ibn Tawus, Kitab al-Malahim wa al-Fitan, P.122)
ADNAN OKTAR: “It is as if I see them.” The hadith says. “They swear allegiance to Hazrat Mahdi (as) as people of the same color and the same height, and their faces are the same and their clothes are the same.” When you look at the students, they resemble one another very closely. They are generally very high-quality and select people. Our Prophet (saas), “they will consist of young people who closely resemble one another. Our Prophet (saas) says that, whether male or female, they will resemble one another so much that people will wonder “are you related?” or “How do they look so much alike?” ( November20th, 2010, Kahramanmaraş Aksu and Gaziantep Olay TV)
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Attract Much Attention with Their Intelligence and Elegance
“When you hear that people say that BRILLIANT PEOPLE (WHO ARE VERY WISE, BRILLIANT, OF BROAD MIND) HAVE APPEARED FROM THE EAST, AND WHOSE DRESS PEOPLE LOOK ON WITH AMAZEMENT, then the shadow of the Day of Reckoning will have fallen upon you.” (Nuaim ibn Hammad, Kitab al-Fitan, -121)
By referring to their “brilliance,” our Prophet (saas) is indicating that Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers will have reached the highest peak of intelligence and understanding. The hadith also states that their dress will be very clean and elegant, different to traditional Muslim apparel.
A Muslim Who Wishes to Be One of the Companions of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Must Be Patient and Virtuous, with Much Fear of Allah
Imam Jaffar Sadik, one of the descendants of our Prophet (saas), advised Muslims who wish to be close companions of Hazrat Mahdi (as) to abide fully by the Qur’an while waiting for his appearance and to exhibit the kind of moral values that are pleasing to Allah.
Imam Jaffar Sadik said: WHOEVER WISHES TO BE ONE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE QAIM [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] MUST WAIT AND EXHIBIT FEAR OF ALLAH AND MORAL VIRTUE WHILE WAITING. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 140, Hadith 5)
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Create No Difficulties Regarding Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) Decisions
The Messenger of Allah (saas) notes that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) submit themselves to him:
They will defend Imam az–Zaman [Hazrat Mahdi (as)], fulfill his desires and will be MORE OBEDIENT AND SUBMISSIVE BEFORE HIM than a slave to his master. (Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol:1, p. 65)
His followers will implement Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) decisions scrupulously and without questioning them. This will be a sign of the depth of their faith in Allah and their sincerity.
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Have No Worldy Desires or Greed
O Abu Hurairah! This community [THE COMMUNITY OF HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] will achieve the degree of the prophets by embarking on a hard and difficult road. THEY WILL CHOOSE HUNGER ONCE ALLAH HAS FED THEM, NAKEDNESS AFTER HE HAS CLOTHED THEM, AND THIRST AFTER HE HAS GIVEN THEM TO DRINK; THEY WILL PLACE THEIR HOPES IN ALLAH AND ABANDON THESE. THEY WILL EVEN ABANDON WHAT IS LAWFUL OUT OF FEAR OF HIS RECKONING. THEY WILL SHOW INTEREST IN THIS WORLD ONLY WITH THEIR BODIES, AND THEY WILL OCCUPY THEMSELVES WITH NOTHING BELONGING TO IT.
Even the angels and the prophets will be amazed at their obedience to our Lord. How happy they are! How happy they are! How I would have wished to see Allah unite me and them! ... (Ibn al-Arabi, Al-Wasaya, no: 198/2, p. 486a)
Adnan Oktar: Being a follower of Hazrat Mahdi (as) is really rather difficult, very difficult indeed. It is not something that cheats, those lovers of this world, people with weak intellects or weak faith, who seek to protect their own interests, who want to concentrate on getting married and having children and their business affairs, who seek rank in this world or who want to make money can undertake. And it is especially not something that fearful and cowardly people can do. (From an interview on August 9th, 2010 on HarunYahya.TV)
Sincere Muslims Will Gradually Appreciate and Love Hazrat Mahdi (as) and His Followers
It is revealed in the hadiths that Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers will be persecuted and oppressed, and that people will disparage them but that these people will then decline in number and there will be a great rise in those loving and praising Hazrat Mahdi (as).
... Hazrat Prophet (saas)... said this: Jibril told me that, my Ahl al-Bayt [my Descendants] will be oppressed after me. This oppression will last until Hazrat Mahdi (as) who is one of them will appear, UNTIL THEIR [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) AND HIS STUDENTS)] GLORY IS EXALTED AND MUSLIM COMMUNITY WILL UNITE IN LOVING THEM. IN THAT TIME, THOSE WHO REVILE AGAINST THEM WILL DECREASE, THOSE WHO DO NOT LOVE THEM WILL BE DENIGRATED AND THOSE WHO PRAISE THEM WILL INCREASE. [Hidayet Önderleri, Hz. Muhammed Mustafa, (The Pioneers of Salvation, The Prophet Muhammed Mustafa (saas)), 1st Volume, p. 314]
Allah Will Bring the Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Together
The hadiths note that Allah will bring together the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as), who are all unknown to one another, from different places.
Jaffar al-Juaffi relates from Imam Muhammad bin Ali al-Bakr:
“When Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears he will have 313 men and 50 women with him, there will be no previous agreement among them, but THEY WILL COME TOGETHER IN THE SAME WAY THAT DIFFERENT CLOUDS COMBINE IN THE SKY. This is a manifestation of Allah’s verse “Wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together. Truly Allah has power over all things.” (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 223)
ADNAN OKTAR: “There will be no prior contract between them.” Look. “With no prior contract between them.” In other words, they do not say, “Let us meet and talk” as they have knowledge of one another. “They will come together as different clouds mass together in the sky.” In other words, they will come together, some from Africa, some from Asia, some from Europe and some from Anatolia. This is a manifestation of the verse “... Wherever you are, Allah will bring you together. Truly, Allah has power enough to do all things.” (Surat al-Baqara, 148) In other words, this verse refers to Hazrat Mahdi (as). It refers to the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Because these 313 people are dispersed across the world. But Allah will bring these people together. It is very difficult. For example, someone comes from Azerbaijan. People come together from different places and this is determined in destiny. That team existed before they were ever born. The community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) existed even then. A person may be astonished. For example, if you tell a young person from Turkistan, “You are in the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as), that is appointed in destiny” he will be amazed. “How can that be?” he will say. Isn’t that right? But he will be made to forget it. Later he will go to different places for various reasons. He will go to Chad and meet someone from Chad. And he will introduce him to someone else. Allah’s means and the system by which He introduces people are very complex and highly detailed. Then you look and see him standing in front of you. He does not know, but Allah encourages him. He does it within the natural flow of events.” (7 June 2010, Adıyaman Asu TV)
Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Purge His Community of Hypocrites
Al-Asbagh ibn Nabata says: Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, said:
“... No more will be left of you than a mote of dust on the eye or salt in food. And I shall give you an example: A man had a quantity of wheat. He cleans it out and puts it indoors, but he returns after a long time he sees it is full of weevils. He again sieves and cleans it and brings it indoors. But when he returns after a long time it is again full of weevils. He cleans it again and repeats the operation. EVENTUALLY HE IS LEFT WITH A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF HEALTHY WHEAT THE WEEVILS HAVE NOT HARMED. That is how you are. Only a very small group of you will remain untouched by corruption.” (Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Said also relates the same hadith.) (Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, p. 246)
The hadith reveals that the hypocrites who emerge from the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be like filthy “weevils” infesting wheat. The community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) is compared to a blessing such as wheat, which is sown, grows and brings with it abundance and promise for the future. But the hypocrites are vile and disgusting, like weevils attempting to damage that wheat.
This suggests that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be able to continue his work with a most immaculate community once it has been purged of the hypocrites within it, just disgusting weevils being removed from wheat.
The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Consist of Believers from Whom Allah Takes an Oath in the World of Souls
Ali ibn Abu Hamza says: Imam Abu Abdullah Jaffar Sadik said: …ONLY THOSE BELIEVERS FROM WHOM ALLAH TAKES AN OATH IN THE WORLD OF SOULS WILL BELIEVE IN HIM.” (Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, p. 247)
Hazrat Mahdi (as) and His Followers Have Been Given the Glad Tidings of Paradise, Like All True Believers
"They are foresighted and down to earth. They do not show any interest in the possessions of this world; they have faith and wisdom... They are devout believers by night, and become lions by day. They are experts in compassion, mercy, honor and struggling. They are steel-hearted and have strong faith. They are tireless, powerful. They are so powerful that if they are sent to the mountains they riddle and take them down. They believe in the All-Mighty, follow Hazrat Mahdi (as), their guide, and submit to him. They love the Islamic creed and crave to reach to Allah, they are devotees who were disciplined on the verge of dangers and difficulties. They love to strive and patience is a feature of them. Trust in Allah is their way of life. They are steel-hearted, iron-willed, those who pray at night, abstentious, courageous and valiant people, each with the strength of forty men. (Safi Golpaygani, Muntakhab al-Asar, p.486)
All the hadiths show that Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) followers will be with Hazrat Mahdi (as) all their lives, never tiring, that they will help this blessed individual in all his work and will be rewarded, by Allah’s leave, with eternal Paradise for their sincerity and purity.
“Anyone, male or female, who does right actions and is a believer, will enter the Garden. They will not be wronged by so much as the tiniest speck.” (Surat an-Nisa’, 124)
