Surat Ash-Shams, 1-10 (A person would know that he is doing the wrong thing through the inspiration of Allah)

1703

Excerpt from Mr.Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on A9 TV and Kackar TV dated April 26th, 2011

In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, Most Merciful. By the sun and its morning brightness, and the moon when it follows it.

You know some simpleton minded people say "the sun and the moon are the symbols of freemasonry, how could you talk about them."  Well, Allah mentions them in the Qur'an, you simpleton! Right?

And the day when it displays it, and the night when it conceals it.

Well, there is a sign here as well of course.

And the moon when it follows it, and the day when it displays it, and the night when it conceals it.

There is a reference to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) as well.

And the sky and what erected it, and the earth and what extended it, and the self and what proportioned it and inspired it with depravity or piety.

That means when a man does something bad, he knows that he did a bad thing.

And inspired it with depravity or peity.

So Allah says that He inspires both depravity and how to abstain from that. So you cannot say; "I was not aware of it." When one does something bad, he is aware of that.

And inspired it with depravity or peity.

You know some people say ;"I wouldn't have done this if I knew." What do you not know? You do know it quite well. They say "I didn't know how to abstain from that."  You do know how to abstain as well, Allah inspires that in you. Once he starts speaking a little he would confess that anyway.

He who purifies it has succeeded.

That means he who purifies his lowerself.. What is he to say?  He will not say "I am such a good man, such a nice person." He is to sincerely accept his shortcomings, his flaws and purify it. What does Allah say? ".. has succeeded." So he finds salvation.

He who covers it up has failed. (Surat Ash-Shams, 1-10)

You say something to him, he says; "no I don't have that." You say something else he says; " no I did no such thing," or " I have been misunderstood. " So he covers it up, he constantly covers it up. He covers his lower-self. So he should not cover it up, on the contrary he is to open it up and say, "You are telling the truth, may Allah be pleased with you , I have made a mistake, I have such a flaw." Or may be say; "I have been doing what you have said but apparently I am missing something, I have made a mistake it seems, I will do better insha'Allah. " Once one says; "I have no such fault," He would go insane. he would become all egoistic, as Bediuzzaman puts it. All his body would become egocentric, he would become like the Pharaoh, may Allah forbid.
