Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on Kahramanmaraş Aksu TV dated February 3rd, 2011
'Were My Signs not recited to you and did you not deny them?’ (Surat al-Muminun, 105)
Almighty Allah says; "I was reciting My verses to you but you denied them. " Recklessly, with no sign of thought, in a peculiarly daring, that is an insanely brave manner.
They will say, 'Our Lord, our miserable destiny overpowered us. We were misguided people. (Surat al-Muminun, 106)
They say, "We were always miserable, we were tense, we were sick and ultimately we turned out to be irreligious. That is how we have ended up in this state." Why do you feel miserable then? You feel unhappy due to irreligion. If you were pious, why would you be miserable?
Our Lord, remove us from it [the Fire]! Then if we revert again, we will definitely be wrongdoers.' He [Allah]will say, 'Slink away into it and do not speak to Me. (Surat al-Muminun, 107-108)
That is, Allah says that they would cease to speak in this manner.
There was a group of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we have faith, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the Best of the Merciful. (Surat al-Muminun, 109)
Notice that it is said,“There was a group of My servants”; a community… This group may be the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as), it may also be the communities of prophets, it may be all.
But you made a mockery of them…
When they go out they ask, "What does this man say?" "He is telling to himself."Have you thought for a moment? No. Have you made an analysis of what he said? No. Under the influence of the people around, you just mocked in prejudice, you derided.
So that they made you forget to remember Me while you were laughing at them. (Surat al-Muminun, 110)
There are those impudent kind of people, you know, continuously findingpretexts, laughing at anything they hear.
Today I have rewarded them for being steadfast. They are the ones who are victorious. (Surat al-Muminun, 111)
Then there should be perseverance; steadfastness in moral perfection and good conduct.
He will say, 'How many years did you tarry on the earth?' They will say, 'We tarried there for a day or part of a day. (Surat al-Muminun, 112-113)
Because time is a relative concept, they stand up in astonishment and say,"Who has raised us from our resting-place?"They first try to understand their whereabouts and then for how long they have been in this state of unconsciousness. That is, they think that they were asleep; at that moment, they cannot fully grasp that they died and were resurrected. They remain in doubt. They say, "We have been here for a day or part of a day." But they question about how they have been taken in that place.Like a man taken into a desert; that is, they may be assuming that they had been kidnapped and taken there.
He will say, 'You only tarried there for a little while if you did but know! Did you suppose that We created you for amusement and that you would not return to Us? (Surat al-Muminun, 114-115)
Allah makes this big world proceed in the heavens like a feather. You know how many tons the Earth weighs. It is an amazingly heavy mass in this infinite heavens. You know there are those tiny feathers in the air flying; they fly like that feather. A giant mass. Masses weighing quadrillions of tons, quadrillions times quadrillions tons of masses proceed in the heavens like a particle of feather. What else? We look at the body makeup of a human being; it is flawless. So does the structure of his joints. For instance eyes. Two eyes are given; having a very sharp view. A nose is given; able to smell all scents perfectly. The mouth tastes all kinds of tastes. He hears the noises in the most quality way. The hearing system is absent in the most advanced stereo systems. Man hears such a high-quality sound that it has no rustling. For instance we buy a music player but it has so much rustling, it is of a very low-quality. Although a team of engineers and scientists join their skills to produce it and make advances in technology for a hundred of years, there is still no accomplishment. We look at the TV, it is blurry. But look at the TV in our brains, what a sharp image it has. It is so sharp, right? Is there any blurriness? No. Moreover it is three-dimensional. They still have not produced a three-dimensional TV. We are waiting. Indeed, the three-dimensionality is so perfect that, out of its severity, I ask to someone, "Where am I [standing]?" He answers, "Is this a question; you are one-and-a-half -meter ahead of me." This is inaccurate. I am inside his brain. But he believes that I am one-and-a half-meter away from him. We ask him, "How far is your car?" He answers, "At least six meters away." This is also not true. The car is also in his brain and they all come about in that tiny space. In the words of Imam Jafar Sadiq, "in a place as tiny as a lentil."
This is amazing. I was wondering about how our Prophet (saas) had explained this subject. Our Prophet (saas) also gave an account of it just in the same way we do. He also explained [the essence of the matter] to his companions and they comprehended it very well. Very splendid. Our Prophet (saas) explained it in a manner way beyond my current account; our Prophet's (saas) account is much superior, perfect and his companions grasped it very well.
