RESIGNATION TO DESTINY

A very important secret underlies the testing that takes place in the world. Believers who possess this secret confront everything that befalls them with great patience, joy and enthusiasm. The fact of "destiny" lies at the heart of this secret. Muslims know that Allah has created all things within destiny and that what befalls them does so solely because He so wishes. It is Allah Who creates people's lives, right down to the finest detail. Sura al-An'am describes how everything, great or small, that happens on Earth occurs because Allah wishes it to:

The keys of the Unseen are in His possession. No one knows them but Him. He knows everything in the land and sea. No leaf falls without His knowing it. There is no seed in the darkness of the earth, and nothing moist or dry which is not in a Clear Book.(Surat al-An'am 59)

Human beings are entities who live constrained by time and by looking at events solely from the current moment. And since people do not know the future they may not always be able to see the long-term wisdom, beauty and goodness in events. Allah, however, Who is unfettered by time and its Creator, sees and knows the lives of all entities from "outside time." It is the fact of destiny that confronts us at this point. Destiny is Allah's knowledge of all events, past and future, as one single moment. In other words, events the outcome of which is unclear are all "mysteries" for us. But Allah knows all these things that we cannot. (For details, see Timelessness and the Reality of Fate by Harun Yahya)

Therefore, the testing of human beings is one whose beginning and end are pre-ordained. The past, future and present are all one in the sight of Allah; all are already over and done with. We can only learn about them by experiencing them when the time comes.

This "knowledge of destiny" is great knowledge not granted to unbelievers. It is by means of this knowledge that Muslims are able to display such splendid fortitude in the face of all difficulties and tests in the life of this world. As revealed in the verse "No kind of calamity occurs except by Allah's permission. Whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. Allah has knowledge of all things." (Sura at-Taghabun, 11) believers enjoy the ease and comfort of knowing that everything befalling them is destined to do so.

As a great blessing, Allah has created the testing of believers to be very easy. But this ease only applies to genuine believers who resign themselves to destiny. A Muslim who truly believes and who sincerely submits himself to Allah watches the constant change of images before him with excitement, thanks and gratitude. Someone sitting in a chair and watching a film in comfort also watches the destiny appointed for him with trust and joy. All the images of that destiny, that are sometimes highly active, sometimes frightening, sometimes appeal to the physical senses and are sometimes very calm, contain the joy and excitement of faith. Frightening images have been specially prepared. They have been planned right down to the finest detail. But at the end of the day they are all within the knowledge and under the control of Allah.

A Muslim aware of the fact of destiny and who grasps this secret of the test, regards all difficulty, hunger or poverty, as positive things and takes great pleasure from them. Because he knows that that the moral values he displays in the face of this test are very valuable in the sight of Allah. This is a pleasure unique to believers. Muslims never suffer such feelings as worry, stress, pain, panic or fear in the face of such woes. Because Muslims know that Allah will make all events that appear to be evil or unwelcome turn out well in the end. In one verse, Allah tells believers that "Allah will not give the unbelievers any way against the believers." (Surat an-Nisa, 141)

However, there is a point here that must not be misunderstood; believers may encounter all kinds of trouble and difficulty in this world, they may lose their worldly goods, grow physically weak, fall ill or be injured, die or be killed. However, none of these are "evils" for Muslims. Allah tests His servants by means of these and recompenses the fortitude they display many time over in this world and the next. And as a result of the testing in this world, Muslims are finally rewarded with the eternal life of the Hereafter.

Aware of this important truth, Muslims therefore feel great joy in the face of difficulty. This joy experienced by believers is also a special condition that neutralises the traps set by the unbelievers and denies them success. When unbelievers see that joy and enthusiasm at times when they imagine they have made things difficult for believers they realise they can never do them any harm. Muslims' words at times of trouble also reveal to the unbelievers their fortitude and submission. The words of believers faced by difficulties are reported in the following terms in the Qur'an:

And why indeed should we not put our trust in Allah when He has guided us to our ways? We will be steadfast however much you harm us. Those who trust put their trust in Allah.'Those who were kafir said to their Messengers, 'We will drive you from our land unless you return to our religion.' Their Lord revealed to them, 'We will destroy those who do wrong. We wll leave you the land to live in after them. That is the reward of those who fear My station and fear My threat.'(Surah Ibrahim,12-14)

Say: 'Nothing can happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is Our Master. It is in Allah that the muminun should put their trust.'(Surat at-Tawba,51)

There is no doubt that all these things are the results of their submission to the destiny created by Allah. Nobody who places his trust and faith in Allah will ever suffer any fear or distress again:

Those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah,' and then go straight will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat al-Ahqaf,13)

Not so! All who submit themselves completely to Allah and are good-doers will find their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat Al-Baqara,112)

Yes, the friends of Allah will feel no fear and will know no sorrow:

Those who have iman and show taqwa, there is good news for them in the life of the dunya and in the akhira. There is no changing the words of Allah. That is the great victory! (Surah Yunus,62-64)

In other verses Allah reveals that servants who believe in and surrender themselves to Him are bound to a bough that will never break:

Those who submit themselves completely to Allah and do good have grasped the Firmest Handhold. The end result of all affairs is with Allah. (Surah Luqman, 22)

There is no compulsion where the deen is concerned. Right guidance has become clearly distinct from error. Anyone who rejects false gods and has iman in Allah has grasped the Firmest Handhold, which will never give way. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surat Al-Baqara, 256)

A Perfect Perceiver: Skin

You can hold and carry objects with smooth surfaces like a glass, for example. You can feel softness when you touch a feather and hardness when you hold a stone. Perceiving all this and sending necessary signals to your brain, your skin has the characteristics that enable you to visualize the objects in your brain.

A great number of nerves exist in the fingertips. This provides you with facility in movement and does not cause any inconvenience. On the other hand, in "less important" regions, on a man's back for example, there are fewer nerve endings present. This is a very important advantage. Now, let's assume the opposite: Let's assume that our fingertips are quite insensitive while nerves are arranged in greater numbers at the back of our bodies. This, undoubtedly, would be very troublesome. In such a situation while we could not use our hands properly, we would feel the slightest object touching our back, the folding of our clothing, for example.

Human skin is a complex organ consisting of many layers, containing nerves for perception, circulation canals, airing systems and heat and moisture regulators which protect the body like a shield against the rays of the sun. Because of this, a man can be in great danger if a part of his skin is damaged. Under the skin is a layer consisting of fat. This layer of fat serves as insulation against heat. Over this layer is another one, most of which consists of proteins that give the skin elasticity.

If we were to lift the skin and look just one centimeter below it, the sight greeting us would be an unaesthetic, even frightful sight, where fats and proteins and various blood vessels exist. By means of the feature that enables it to cover these structures, the skin both provides a very important aesthetic contribution and also enables us to protect ourselves from outside factors. It will be sufficient to remark upon a couple of the functions of the skin that makes it vital for us and to ponder on them in order to understand the importance of its existence.

Human skin prevents the disturbance of the water balance of the body, is strong and elastic, can repair itself, protect the body from harmful rays, maintains contact with the outside world, and protect the temperature of the body in cold or hot weather.
Human skin, which functions as a sensitive detector and an advanced air-conditioner meeting all kinds of needs, is a blessing that has been created by God, with the beauty it provides visually and the features it has to protect man. The skin, about which many pages of books have been written, once again displays God's magnificence in creation to us.

THE DECEPTION THAT THERAPSIDS ARE TRANSITIONAL FORMS

Celal Şengör engages in propaganda to the effect that the therapsids, which he describes as “reptiles with moustaches,” are an intermediate form between reptiles and mammals.

This claim is invalid because:

    * The lower jaw in mammals consists of a single bone, compared to three bones in reptiles. Darwinists maintain that the extra bones in reptiles gradually turned into mammals’ inner ear bones, which is why they try to point to the therapsids, which have two jaw bones, as transitional forms. But this is a deception. The therapsids, a kind of dinosaur, HAVE NOT A SINGLE CHARACTERISTIC SIMILAR TO THOSE OF MAMMALS.  In addition, the fact that one life form has similarities to another life form does not show that one is descended from the other.

    * The claim concerned contains serious logical flaws that totally refute Darwinism. It is impossible for jaw bones to migrate to such a complex organ as the ear as the result of supposed mutations. Darwinists have no answer to give to the questions of how, according to this claim, the mutations involved shrank the jaw bones in such a way as to make them ear bones, how they assumed the ideas shape and size, how muscles then formed around them, how balance was established in the middle ear and how the animal managed to continue hearing and using its jaw while all this was going on.

    * Most importantly, THERE EXISTS NOT ONE SINGLE TRANSITIONAL FORM FOSSIL to back up this claim.

    * Therapsids do not emerge in a chronological sequence of the kind Darwinists ascribe to living things. This means that there is no chronological transition in therapsid fossils from a reptilian jaw bone to a mammalian one.

    * Darwinists build an artificial line of descent between reptiles and mammals. This is established by the entirely arbitrary mixture of various sub-groups and is based on no scientific evidence whatsoever.

    * According to the Darwinist claim, the imaginary line of descent established for the origin of mammals runs like this: anapsids, pelycosaurs, therapsids, cynodonts, early mammals and modern mammals.  SINCE THERE EXISTS NOT A SINGLE TRANSITIONAL FOSSIL to confirm this illusory sequence, THIS FAMILY TREE IS ENTIRELY INVALID.

The evolutionist and paleontologist Robert Carroll makes the following confessions on the subject:

“The transition between pelycosaurs and therapsids has not been documented.” 1

In addition to all this, there are the following extraordinary differences between reptiles and mammals that Darwinists can never explain:

    Mammals are warm-blooded ? Reptiles are cold-blooded.

Mammals give birth to and suckle their young ? Reptiles lay eggs and do not suckle their young.

Mammals are covered in fur ? Reptiles are covered in scales.

These and many thousands more are all differences of which not even the tiniest stage can come about through random mutations.  In order to prove their claims, Darwinists would have to account for these differences and produce transitional form fossils as evidence for those changes. But they have no explanation to give and not a single transitional form fossil to support this false claim.

Turkey and Azerbaijan Must Unite - 20.03.2009
Azerbaijan Republic/Yeni Müsavat

On 20 March, 2009, Yeni Müsavat, one of Azerbaijan’s most popular dailies, carried an interview it had conducted with Adnan Oktar.  The main subject matter in the interview in the paper, published in Azeri and enjoying an average circulation of 20,000, was the need for Azerbaijan and Turkey to unite.

Mr. Oktar said that it was easy for everyone to write to the government demanding that Turkey amalgamate with Azerbaijan, saying that we want no visa or passport formalities between the two countries, that the borders should be fully opened up and that there is no point in prolonging the issue. He went on to say that it would be a good thing for the Armenian and Azeri borders to be opened up at the same time on the same day; for example, the two borders should be opened up on a Friday, after Friday prayers, with the words “ya Allah, bismillah.” Mr. Oktar said that the economic crisis was like the flood of the Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him), that it would engulf all countries that, by Allah’s leave, the only ark that can save them is the Turkish-Islamic Union, and that only those who board the ark can be saved.  He also imparted the glad tidings that Hazrat Mahdi is already among us and will lead the Turkish-Islamic Union, and that nobody can prevent this happening.

Growing Numbers Convert To Islam in Papua New Guinea / ABCNews / 17.11.2008

In Papua New Guinea a growing number of people are now choosing to pray at a mosque rather than a church.

PNG is experiencing a sharp increase in the number of people turning their backs on Christianity and converting to Islam.

"A lot of Papua New Guineans are converting to Islam not because they don't like the other religion. It's just they've become, they feel comfortable in there," said Khalid, an Imam who received his training in Malaysia.

"The practice of Islam is much easier than the other religions. In the religion of Islam you are your own preacher. You learn how to pray.”

"God is not only in the mosque, it's everywhere. So if I don't come into the mosque, the house of prayer, I can pray under the trees, in the house, anywhere."

Papua New Guineans began converting to Islam in the early 1980s, and there are now more than 4,000 followers with recent reports of entire villages converting at the same time.

"Once the religion itself spread I tell you, I'm just predicting in 20, 30 years' time, all Papua New Guinea will submit to Islam."

Khalid says attitudes will change as the number of Papua New Guineans converting to Islam continues to increase.

Since1980s the number of Muslims is growing rapidly in Papua New Guinea. This great increase in the number opeople who believe in Allah, who embrace Quranic morality and who choose Islam is very joyful for the whole  Muslim world. Allah states in the Qur’an those whom He will open their breasts to Islam as He wills, as below:

When Allah desires to guide someone, He expands his breast to Islam. When He desires to misguide someone, He makes his breast narrow and constricted as if he were climbing up into the sky. That is how Allah defiles those who do not believe. (Surat al-An‘am, 125)

Muslims should pray to Allah with a deep love hoping to meet with Allah’s mercy and Paradise in the Hereafter. They should strengthen their faith in the deepest way and be thankful to our Lord.

WILLOW LEAF

Age: 50 million years

Period: Eocene

Location: Green River Formation, Utah, USA

Willow trees have always existed as willow trees throughout the course of geologic time. They are not descended from any other plant and have never transformed into any other species throughout the course of their long existence. There is no trace of a "half-willow half-oak", or "half-willow half-maple" species in the fossil record—because such intermediate forms never existed.

The 50-million-willow leaf pictured here clearly shows that the evolutionists' idea that plants evolved is a figment of their imaginations. Fossils are proof that evolution never happened, and that the origin of life is Creation.

AL-QABIL

The Acceptor of Repentance

He accepts repentance from His servants, pardons evil acts, and knows what they do. (Surat ash-Shura, 25)

All human beings are very vulnerable, for we cannot survive unless all conditions essential for life are provided for us. And yet some people tend to grow insolent, arrogant, and ungrateful toward Allah, as the following verses indicate:

We offered the Trust to the heavens, Earth, and the mountains, but they refused to take it on and shrank from it. But man took it on. He is indeed wrongdoing and ignorant. (Surat al-Ahzab, 72)

Truly man is ungrateful to his Lord. (Surat al-‘Adiyat, 6)

Allah is fully aware of this inherent evil tendency. He knows that humanity is fallible, ignorant, and ungrateful, and yet He is always compassionate and merciful toward people. Out of His compassion, He showed humanity the way to salvation: repentance.

Allah gives all of us countless opportunities to purify ourselves through repentance. Regardless of what we have done or of our former ungratefulness, we can attain salvation if we are sincere, remain true to Allah, fear and are aware of Allah, and truly repent.

This attribute is a clear indication of Allah's compassion and mercy upon people. Allah, Who is not in need of anything, wouldn't have forgiven anyone if He willed. But out of His infinite compassion, He knew that people would need this compassion and mercy, and so gave the good news that He would accept the repentance of any sincere person. As the Qur'an states:

Do they not know that Allah accepts repentance from His servants and acknowledges their alms, and that Allah is the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful? (Surat at-Tawba, 104)

THE BANKS MUST LOWER INTEREST RATES

What He Said

Kaçkar TV, November 21-2008

Adnan Oktar: Banks must take this subject very seriously. INTEREST RATES MUST BE LOWERED to zero.

MPL TV, November 21-2008

Adnan Oktar: The way out of this crisis is to do away with interest rates... Everyone has seen that this has been successful in Britain and America. This is currently the only banking system not affected by the crisis.

What Happened

Yeni Şafak, December 26-2008

THE URGENT SOLUTION IS LOWERING INTEREST RATES

Real sector representatives whose activities have almost stopped due to high interest rates and banks cutting credit supplies in order to maintain liquidity STATED THAT INTEREST RATES ON ALL LOANS SHOULD BE BROUGHT DOWN IN ORDER FOR THE MARKETS TO BE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE

THE STONE AGE

Did you know that 700,000 years ago, people were sailing the oceans in very well-constructed ships? Or have you ever heard that the people described as “primitive cavemen” possessed an artistic ability and understanding just as refined as those of modern artists?... This site reveals scientific proofs that the “evolution of human history” concept is a falsehood, and we shall show how the fact of creation is now supported by the latest scientific findings. Mankind came into the world not through evolution, but by the flawless creation of God, the Almighty and Omniscient. In this site, you can read the scientific and historical proofs of this.

The history of mankind could be considered as a history of prophets. God has communicated His Divine Revelation to people by means of His messengers throughout history. These messengers told people about God and communicated to them the words of our Lord.

The struggle a number of prophets faced in spreading the message is depicted in detail in the Qur'an. The stories and experiences of various prophets, besides the Prophet Muhammad (saas), such as the Prophet 'Isa, Sulayman, Yusuf, Nuh, Ibrahim, and many others (peace be upon them all), are conveyed as examples.
The prophet that is most frequently employed as an example in the Qur'an is the Prophet Musa (Moses) (as). The Qur’an offers detailed accounts of his difficulties with Pharaoh, beginning in his childhood, the evil conduct of his people and his struggle in communicating the message to them. His unyielding courage under the most stringent circumstances is presented with the intention of being an example to people.

In this book we will examine the life of Musa (as) as it is depicted in the Qur'an. We will explore the events he has lived through as it is described. Essentially, the events in the Prophet Musa's life should not be regarded merely as events of the ancient past, but rather as events and examples to shed light to our own lives today.

Blood Cells Capable of Differentiating between Useful and Harmful Substances

Blood as it flows through the capillaries collects waste products from the cells. It carries them to the kidneys, where these substances are filtered out. The carbon dioxide produced as a byproduct of cells is carried by the blood to the lungs, and from there it is expelled from the body.

The red blood cells in the veins and arteries are able to differentiate between useful and harmful substances in an exceedingly aware manner, and are well aware which gasses they must deposit where. For example, they never carry harmful gasses to the kidneys or waste products to the lungs. Neither do they take waste products to organs requiring nourishment. The manner that blood cells perform their functions without ever making a mistake or suffering any confusion or delays indicates that a supreme Consciousness controls, supervises and organizes them. It is evident that it is the Almighty God Who bestows all these characteristics on the blood and creates a perfect circulatory system.
