An Ayat

Men and women who are Muslims, men and women who are muminun, men and women who are obedient, men and women who are truthful, men and women who are steadfast, men and women who are humble, men and women who give sadaqa, men and women who fast, men and women who guard their private parts, men and women who remember Allah much: Allah has prepared forgiveness for them and an immense reward.

(Surat- Al-Ahzab': 35)

A Hadith

"A believer loves for others what he loves for himself. "

(Imam al-Ghazzali, Ihya' 'Ulum ad-Din)

ADVICE FROM OUR PROPHET (SAAS) REGARDING FASTING, BROTHERHOOD AND PROPER MORAL VALUES DURING RAMADAN

The Importance Of Self-Sacrifice

Only Allah knows the depth of a person's belief, love, and attachment to Him: "He knows what they keep secret and what they make public. He knows what their hearts contain" (Surah Hud: 5). However, each one of us can form an opinion about another person's belief, fear, and respect for Allah by observing external signs. The Qur'an mentions some important indications of a person's sincerity: observing the prescribed prayers, avoiding forbidden behavior, and doing one's best to live the kind of life of which He approves.

Allah tells us about those people who only pretend to believe. For example, they may act like believers, perform certain acts of worship, abstain from certain things that Allah has forbidden, and live as a believer lives. In addition, certain characteristics can reveal whether or not they are sincere, for some characteristics that are common among believers cannot be imitated. One of these is an unconditional determination to be self-sacrificial. This characteristic cannot be imitated by unbelievers, for they lack the desire to win Allah's favor and love, and attain Paradise, and therefore cannot sacrifice what they value to attain those goals. Sometimes, they may pretend to do so in order to hide their ignorance of the Qur'an's morality or gain some personal benefit. But when they are sure that no benefit is forthcoming, they lose their enthusiasm. When they think that they are about to lose something or suffer some emotional or physical setback, they cannot find the inner strength that comes from belief and so reveal their insincerity.

But believers regard any attempt to sacrifice for Allah's sake as a valuable opportunity to show their sincerity. They know that Allah creates difficult and troubling situations, which require patience and self-denial, for a good purpose. They act in the knowledge that this world is a short and transient place of testing to win Allah's favor, and so they seek to win His approval and attain Paradise:

The life of this world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The abode of the Hereafter - that is truly life, if they only knew. (Surat al-'Ankabut: 64)

Allah expands provision to anyone He wills and restricts it. They rejoice in the life of this world. Yet the life of this world, compared to the Hereafter, is only fleeting enjoyment. (Surat ar-Ra'd: 26)

Whatever you have been given is only the enjoyment of the life of this world. What is with Allah is better and longer lasting for those who believe and trust in their Lord. (Surat ash-Shura: 36)

In this world, Allah tests individuals so that they can overcome the lower self's desires by seeking to win Allah's favor and mercy. Thus, Allah tests people with blessings and with difficulties: "Every self will taste death. We test you with both good and evil as a trial. And you will be returned to Us" (Surat al-Anbiya': 35). He also reveals the purpose of our creation:

He created the heavens and Earth in six days, when His Throne was on the water, in order to test which of you has the best actions. (Surah Hud: 7)

He created death and life to test which of you is the best in action. He is the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving. (Surat al-Mulk: 2)

Given this, the sensible course to follow is that of true sincerity and readiness to sacrifice, for the greatest virtue is to come in first in the race to do good deeds:

Then We made Our chosen servants inherit the Book. But some of them wrong themselves, some are ambivalent, and some outdo each other in good by Allah's permission. That is the great favor. (Surah Fatir: 32)

Had Allah willed, He would have made you a single community. But He wanted to test you regarding what has come to you. So compete with each other in doing good. Every one of you will return to Allah, and He will inform you regarding the things about which you differed. (Surat al-Ma'ida: 48)

Those who seek to do good in order to win Allah's favor act with great eagerness, determination, and self-sacrifice. Their sincere belief gives them many fine moral qualities: trusting in their submission to Allah as well as remain courageous, patient, merciful, helpful, tolerant, subtle in mind, and thankful in all circumstances. They are not caught up in any passion for this world and the desires of their lower self, for their goal is to win Allah's approval and mercy and to attain Paradise. In other words, they are so attached to Allah by a deep bond of love, respect, and fear that they will give up everything without a second thought for the sake of that love.

  EXAMPLES TO LIVING FOSSILS:

ARAUCARIAN CONE SLICE

Age: 165 million years old

Size: 5.6 centimeters (2.2 in) by 7 centimeters ( 2.7 in)

Location: Jaramillo, Santa Cruz, Patagonia, Argentina

Period: Jurassic, Callovian

This slice of a 165-million-year-old fossil Araucaria cone was obtained from the petrified forest in Jaramillo. Displaying the cone with its all details, this fossil is one of the examples that this species never evolved. The features of today's cones were the same as those of cones of 165 million years ago.

CRAB

Age: 23-5 million years old

Location: Rio de la Plata, Patagonia, Argentina

Period: Miocene

One of the organisms frequently encountered in the fossil record is the crab. One of the proofs that there's no difference between the crabs of millions of years ago and ones alive today is the 23-5-million-year-old crab pictured. This crab is the same as the ones living today.

  THE NAMES OF ALLAH:

AL-WAHHAB
The All-Giving

Or do they possess the treasuries of your Lord's mercy, the Almighty, the Ever-Giving? (Surah Sad, 38:9)

Allah promised a life of infinite happiness in Paradise , which starts here in this world, for He also promised a beautiful life in this world. This is why sincere believers see no limits when asking their Lord to meet their needs. They can ask their Lord for anything that will draw them nearer to Him. Allah answers these calls as He wills, and His answer is always the best. One example is Prophet Sulayman's (as) prayer: "Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord" (Surah Sad, 38:32) and continued:

He said: "My Lord, forgive me and give me a kingdom the like of which will never be granted to anyone after me. Truly You are the Ever-Giving." (Surah Sad, 38:35)

Prophet Sulayman (as) prayed for such a kingdom because he knew that Allah rewards His sincere servants both in this world and in the Hereafter. One verse reads:

Our Lord, do not make our hearts swerve aside after You have guided us. And give us mercy from You. You are the Ever-Giving. (Surah Al 'Imran, 3:8)

  THE EVOLUTION DECEIT:

The Origin of Behavior Does Not Lie in Evolution

Evolutionists regard all animal and human behavior as having an evolutionary origin. But an evolutionary explanation does not square with the facts, because animals have no reason, consciousness and capacity with which to learn by trial and error. They cannot record in their genes what they have learned and then pass these learned skills along to their subsequent offspring. They possess forms of behavior such as their life-saving defense techniques and nest-building capabilities right from birth.

God creates all living things with their own unique characteristics and forms of behavior. It is impossible, for example, for a butterfly to realize that mimicking a dry leaf will better camouflage it and thus enable it to escape predators, and then to transform this thought into radical changes in its own wings. Alternatively, a beaver is able to construct a dam—which requires advanced engineering calculations in order to halt the flow of water along the bed of a stream—and is able to do this right from the moment it grows old enough to do so. This skill is not anything that can be learned or acquired by way of such unconscious mechanisms as natural selection.

Living things are born in possession of certain forms of behavior and various characteristics that will protect them, right from the moment they are created. It is God Who bestows these characteristics on them.

Darwinism Lies at the Root of the Ideologies that Inflicted Disasters on the 20th Century

The concept of "survival of the fittest" constitutes the basis of Darwinism. Its other two important features are that it regards human beings as just another species of animal and offers a supposedly scientific foundation for philosophies and ideologies that deny God and His religion. In the 20th century, these features of Darwinism provided justification and support for a great many dangerous ideologies and philosophies such as amoral capitalism, racism, eugenics, communism and fascism.

Why was Darwinism so strongly supported by certain circles? The reason is because thanks to Darwinism, it was no longer possible to condemn or prevent those who perpetrated barbaric slaughter, who treated their fellow human beings like animals, who turned nation against nation, who belittled entire peoples because of their race, who forced small businesses into bankruptcy through unfair competition or who refused to extend helping hands to the poor—doing all this in accord with a supposedly "scientific" law of nature.

That is why Darwinism posed such a grave danger and even today provides supposedly scientific support for most of the ideologies and philosophies that continue to wreak such harm on society and humanity. That is why a scientific refutation of Darwinism is so important.

THE SIGNS LEADING TO FAITH :

Multi-Purpose Whale Blubber

A layer of fat covers the bodies of dolphins and whales, serving as a natural flotation mechanism that allows whales to rise to the surface to breathe. At the same time, it protects these warm-blooded mammals from the cold waters of the ocean depths. Another property of whale blubber is that when metabolized, it provides two to three times as much energy as sugar or protein. During a whale's nonfeeding migration of thousands of kilometers, when it is unable to find sufficient food, it obtains the needed energy from this fat in its body.

Alongside this, whale blubber is a very flexible rubber-like material. Every time it beats its tail in the water, the elastic recoil of blubber is compressed and stretched. This not only provides the whale with extra speed, but also allows a 20% energy saving on long journeys. With all these properties, whale blubber is regarded as a substance with the very widest range of functions.

Whales have had their coating of blubber for thousands of years, yet only recently has it been discovered to consist of a complex mesh of collagen fibers. Scientists are still working to fully understand the functions of this fat-composite mix, but they believe that it is yet another miracle product that would have many useful applications if produced synthetically.   BOOK OF THE DAY:

Satan: The Sworn Enemy Of Manking

Whoever you may be, there is an enemy who is a devoted threat to you, who wishes for you eternal torment, having dedicated his whole existence to that end. That enemy is Satan. That is, Satan whom Allah cursed and expelled from His presence. He is your greatest foe. Nor is he a mere myth or legend, but a real being. Satan has no power independent from Allah. Allah created him, and holds him under His control. Satan's enmity is destined to test human beings. He can only make suggestions. If a person has a sickness in his heart then he is vulnerable to these insinuations. Other than that, Satan has no other power by which to coerce people to do anything.
