An Ayat

Everything in the heavens and everything in the earth belongs to Allah. Whether you divulge what is in yourselves or keep it hidden, Allah will still call you to account for it. He forgives whoever He wills and He punishes whoever He wills. Allah has power over all things.

(Surat- Al-Baqara :284)

A Hadith

ADVICE FROM OUR PROPHET (SAAS) REGARDING FASTING, BROTHERHOOD AND PROPER MORAL VALUES DURING RAMADAN

The Real Owner of All Possessions

Most often, it is the fight for possessions that leads people to sorrow and pain. In fact, the entire life of the unbelievers rests upon the greed for "having property". They always struggle to have more, making this the real aim of their life.

However, this "rivalry in respect of wealth and children" (Surat al-Hadid, 57:20) is a total deception, since, the dominion of all possessions on earth is of Allah. People only fool themselves by thinking that they really own something, since they have neither created the things they possess, nor have they the power to keep them alive and ever-lasting. Nor can they avoid their own destruction. Furthermore, they have no status to "possess" anything, because they are "possessed" by another being. This Superior Being is "the King (or Ruler) of Mankind" (Surat an-Nas, 114:2) Who is Allah. The Qur'an informs us that the entire universe is possessed by Allah: "To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them , and all beneath the soil." (Surah Ta-Ha, 20:6). Another verse extends this to Allah, power to forgive or punish: "Do you not know that to Allah alone belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He pleases, and He forgives whom He pleases: and Allah has power over all things." (Surat al-Maeda, 5:40)

As a matter of fact, Allah has given all possessions to people as a temporary "trust" in this world. This trust will last for a certain period of time and when the day of judgement comes, everyone will be asked to account for his conduct.

In this day of judgement, each one will be asked about his intentions and purpose in using this "trust" given to him. Those who considered themselves owners rather than trustees, and revolted against the Prophets by saying, "Does your prayer command you that we leave off doing what we like with our property?" (Surah Hud, 11:87), deserve severe punishment. The Qur'an describes what will happen to them:

"And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed on them of His Bounty think that it is good for them. Nay, it will be worse for them; the things which they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Well¬Acquainted with all that you do." (Surat Aal-e-Imran, 3:180)

As mentioned in the Qur'an, all the gifts given to man by Allah, by His Grace, is for him to spend with no "covetous withholding". So, instead of trying to own and preserve these possessions, one should expend them in the way Allah commands. This means that the believer will use the proper amount that is necessary for his maintenance and then spend "what is beyond his needs" (Surat al-Baqara, 2:219). If he does not act accordingly and tries to "keep" all his wealth, then this will mean that he sees himself as its owner. Yet, the punishment for this kind of behaviour is of a very serious nature. In the Qur'an this is explained thus:

"... And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty. On the Day, when it will (all) be heated in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs. (and it will be said unto them): ‘This is the (treasure) which you buried for yourselves: taste you, then, the treasures you buried‘" (Surat at-Tawba, 9:34-35)

There is "economy" in Islam, but no "piling up possessions". The believers do not trust in the material things they keep or accumulate for "the bad days", but only in Allah. So, Allah increases their wealth in return. Allah gives them more than they spend in His way, and increases their blessings. This is stated in a verse as follows:

"The parable of those who spend their property in the way of Allah is as the parable of a grain growing seven ears(with) a hundred grains in every ear. Allah multiplies for whom He pleases; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing." (Surat al-Baqara, 2:261)

On the contrary, the situation of the one who does not spend in the way of Allah is that of one "who piles up wealth and keeps on counting it, thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever. By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into the crushing Fire. And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? It is the Fire of Allah kindled (to a blaze)." (Surat al-Humaza, 104:2-6)

  EXAMPLES TO LIVING FOSSILS:

ADULT PLANTHOPPER

Age: 25 million years old

Location: Dominican Republic

Period: Oligocene

The 25-million-year-old planthopper pictured is identical to present-day planthoppers. These insects, which have remained unchanged despite the passage of millions of years, refute the theory of evolution.

ASSASIN BUG

Age: 25 million years old

Size: 18 millimeters (0.7 in) by 14 millimeters (0.5 in) across

Location: The mountains near Santiago, Dominican Republic

Period: Oligocene

This piece of amber contains a rarely-seen specimen of an assassin bug. Assassin bugs feed in a manner known as external digestion. They release a secretion that liquifies the tissues of their prey, after which they ingest this solution. The toxin acts rapidly and renders the prey powerless within a few seconds. While some assassin bugs actively seek out their prey, others lie in wait for it. The colors on this specimen's wings have been well preserved.

Modern-day assassin bugs possess all the same features as those living 25 million years ago. The fossil pictured is one of the proofs that assassin bugs never evolved, maintaining exactly the same characteristics for millions of years.

  THE NAMES OF ALLAH:

AL-MALIK
The Sovereign; The King

Say: "I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind , the God of mankind." ( Surat an-Nas, 114:1-3)

The attribute al-Malik means that Allah is the sovereign of everything that exists, the Creator and sole Owner of all known and unknown universes, and the everlasting Sovereign of our universe. All stars, human beings, animals, plants, jinn, angels, demons, and other beings of which we are either aware or unaware are all under Allah's command. Allah, the Lord of all universes, also owns countless universes and regulates their amazing order.

It is unlikely that people who consciously submit to Almighty Allah considers themselves to be aimless beings. Allah is aware of everything, for He sees and hears everything. People who are aware of this also have to be aware that they are responsible to our Creator. Indeed, the consciousness that the universe's all-pervasive order has a unique owner makes believers naturally turn to Allah, Who holds sway over everything and everyone. Below are some of the verses related to this issue:

High exalted be Allah, the King, the Real!... (Surah Ta Ha, 20:114)

Exalted be Allah, the King, the Real. There is no deity but Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. ( Surat al-Mu'minun, 23:116)

He is Allah—there is no deity but Him. He is the King, the Most Pure, the Perfect Peace, the Trustworthy, the Safeguarder, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supremely Great. Glory be to Allah above all they associate with Him. ( Surat al-Hashr, 59:23)

  THE EVOLUTION DECEIT:

Another Predicament for the Theory of Evolution: Information Theory

One of the many puzzles that evolutionists are unable to explain is the sheer volume of information in living things, because information can never be reduced to matter. A book, for example, consists of paper, ink and the information it contains. The paper and ink are material elements, but the vital information they convey is not material.

If something contains information, then it must have been arranged by a conscious mind possessed of that information. For example, the origin of whatever information is contained in any book is the mind of the author who first thought those words.

The DNA of living things contains exceedingly comprehensive information. In the 20th century science revealed that all this information in DNA could not, contrary to materialists' claims, in fact be reduced to matter. The information in DNA is the work of a superior Mind and infinite Knowledge. This extraordinary information which represents the source of all life presents countless proofs of the existence of God, the Lord of all the worlds, while also totally refuting materialist philosophy.

The Lie that the Human Embryo Has Gills

This claim is based on a scientific fraud that the evolutionist biologist Ernst Haeckel perpetrated in the early 20th century. In order to supply evidence of evolution that did not in fact exist, Haeckel drew the developing embryos of such life forms as human beings, chickens and fish alongside one another—but deliberately distorted them. The whole scientific world now agrees that this was a fraud. The structure that Haeckel depicted as a "gill" is actually the beginning of the middle ear canal, the parathyroids, and the thymus gland.

THE SIGNS LEADING TO FAITH :

Fiberglass Technology in Crocodile Skin

The fiberglass technology that began to be used in the 20th century has existed in living things since the day of their creation. A crocodile's skin, for example, has much the same structure as fiberglass.

Until recently, scientists were baffled as to why crocodile skin was impervious to arrows, knives and sometimes, even bullets. Research came up with surprising results: The substance that gives crocodile skin its special strength is the collagen protein fibers it contains. These fibers have the property of strengthening a tissue when added to it. No doubt collagen didn't come to possess such detailed characteristics as the result of a long, random process, as evolutionists would have us believe. Rather, it emerged perfect and complete, with all its properties, at the first moment of its creation.

  BOOK OF THE DAY:

Prayer in the Qur'an

Are you close enough to Allah, the One Who created you and placed you in this world, endowing you with wisdom and a body? When was the last time you prayed to Him? Do you plead to Allah only when you are in trouble, or do you always keep your mind occupied with His remembrance?

Prayer is the bond between Allah and people. Humankind inherently possesses the need to establish a bond with Allah: this is their very nature. Praying is an essential and natural part of a believer's life, though the majority of people only think of praying during times of insurmountable distress. Allah prefers that we pray to Him during times of ease as well as in times of severe hardship. For this reason, the Qur'an gives a detailed account of how to pray to Allah sincerely.
