There does not seem to be any other solution.  WHEN WE ASK “WHO SHOULD BE THE LEADER?” IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD, EVERYONE SAYS THE TURKS, THEY ALL SAY TURKEY SHOULD BE THE LEADER. Nobody says that Egypt should be the leader, or Iran, and they have no such pretensions themselves.  THEY INSIST THE TURKS SHOULD DO IT. That is also what our Prophet (saas) says. Turkey is where Hazrat Mahdi (as) will appear; all the portents of the End Times center around Turkey, and they all refer to Istanbul. The hadith about Hazrat Mahdi (as) all refer to Istanbul, by the name of Constantinople, which then assumed the name Istanbul.
