What He Said?What Happened?

Mr. Adnan Oktar recently  emphasized that the conflicts in the Islamic World cannot be solved other than by establishing the Unity of Islam and reminded his viewers that the conflicts between Islamic schools stem from not abiding by the morality of the Qur'an in an accurate way. He also expressed that  people with radical mindsets make, in their own way, additions to the Qur'an  and consequently the slaughter of Muslims from different Islamic schools is now  perceived of as normal .

Mr. Oktar’s keeping this issue on the agenda also attracted the attention of different circles. Indeed recently Mr. Mehmet Görmez, in a speech he made, made an explanation similar to  the statements of Mr. Oktar.

ADNAN OKTAR: Turkish, Kurdish, Circassian; it does not matter. Reconciling the parties in conflict, making them brothers.

ADNAN OKTAR: Some have become accustomed. Once the name Islam is mentioned, they think of “chopping people up, killing, murdering”. Some indeed say, “Blood will rise up to the level of the chests of horses.” What is weird is Christians also believe in this. There is always chopping people up [in Christian eschatology]. In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) there is no chopping people up. There is no blood. Once Islam comes holy light will come, love will come. The followers of Mahdi are under the protection of God. This violent idea is how you have conceived Islam, this is very wrong. But in their souls and minds this has been placed into their sub-conscious. For instance, ISIS also have this in its mind. They chop up whoever they come across. The system of Mahdi is Mahdi al-Dam, “the stopper of Mahdi” insha’Allah. In Mahdi’s destiny this does not exist.

Prof Dr. Mehmet Görmez, the Chairman of Religious Affairs, drew attention to the conflicts that are based on Islamic schools and made a call of peace and brotherhood to the Islamic world in eight languages. He said:

“No structure should allow those kind of endeavors disrupting the Islamic brotherhood. No one can wage a war against another’s faith, values and thoughts. Every act like this is a fitna. It is also unacceptable for some circles to wage a war against others. Indeed the Qur'an and Sunnah never commands a war that considers the blood and possessions of other Muslims as lawful. Today the all -out war that Muslims need to fight is against fanaticism, ignorance, sedition and being disunited.”
