In his conversation programs, Mr. Adnan Oktar has reminded viewers of the threat posed by the mentality that a majority of world governments only consider ISIL as a threat - and not the PKK - and noted, “All world governments must be warned against the PKK and it is not normal only to focus on ISIL and the Turkish government too must handle the PKK and ISIL terror as a whole.” Following this, Mr. Erdogan, who spoke at the Global Economy Forum, made a statement that echoed the statement made by Mr. Oktar and said that world governments only focus on ISIL and remain silent in the face of PKK terror. September 26th, 2014: A9 TV ADNAN OKTAR: We need to inform and warn all world governments against the PKK. We need to draw the world’s attention to the PKK: It is as if there is no such threat and they are all dealing with ISIL. The greatest danger is the PKK. We need to draw attention to them. The Turkish state must always draw attention to the PKK. The government should always deal with the PKK and ISIL problems together. Not ISIL alone, but as a whole; the Turkish state will first finish off the PKK. The international coalition will first finish off the PKK and then deal with ISIL. ISIL and the PKK are a whole. They will be dealt with as a whole. They will be destroyed as a whole. Not by shedding blood or bombing; there could be a blockade. But with knowledge, science in an intellectual way. September 27th, 2014: A9 TV (Coalition forces prevented ISIL’s progress in Kobane by an air strike. It is said that many ISIL sites were destroyed in the air strikes on Kobane.” ADNAN OKTAR: What about PKK sites? “We are protecting them.” This is completely wrong and unfair. This is immoral. The PKK sites stay and you bring down ISIL sites. You support the PKK. Now they ask, “What is your problem with ISIL?” You say, “They kill people.” What about the PKK? Why are you supporting them? I’m not telling them to go and bomb them as well but the distinction there is very wrong and unusual. You are openly protecting the PKK. You also want them to be provided with arms. This is not a coalition. There is something abnormal here. Our people should show their intellectual and logical reaction. This is not moral. (The Syrian people think that the US attacks on ISIL will also work to the benefit of Assad and that the real target will not be ISIL but them.) There is something wrong here. They don’t consider Assad as a threat. They don’t consider the PKK as a threat, but they see ISIL as one. The distinction here is abnormal. On the contrary, Assad is a threat. The PKK is a great threat. In the same manner, ISIL is also a threat just like other terrorist organizations. They should all be considered equally but they make a special distinction here. This is completely immoral. We need to focus on this more with our articles and interviews. |
