French People Do Not Believe In Evolution Any More

1981

The results of an opinion poll on “Your Thoughts on the Subject of Evolution” held on a French scientific web site show that 92% of the public no longer believe in evolution

In the wake of the major impact of the distribution in France of the first volume of the Atlas of Creation, the French web site Science Actualités held an interview with Patrick Tort of the Charles Darwin International Institute and staged a public opinion poll.

According to the results of the poll, it would seem that Darwinism has come to an end in France. The poll revealed that 92% of the public do not believe that “human beings are the fruit of evolution.”

While 5% of the public believe that “human beings and apes share a common ancestor,” a mere 1% believes that human beings are evolved from apes.
