DİDEM ÜRER: Selahattin Demirtaş, the co-chairman of the BDP, made a statement stating that the real struggle is for autonomy.
ADNAN OKTAR: He should forget about it, this is out of question. [As a nation of] 75 million people, we are ready to give our lives. It is impossible. Autonomy means the devastation of Turkey, its annihilation. This is unacceptable. You will forget about it. This means the devastation of you, our brothers residing there, being the foremost. Evangelists want to reduce the region into dust. I exclude those Evangelists who are sincere, they are devout people; I refer to the psychopathic ones among them, those awaiting Armageddon. Those who aspire to slaughter everyone in the entire region. They say, “We will leave only 140 thousand Jews left, we will annihilate all the rest.” This way you make things easier for them.
How did you come up with this “autonomy”? Autonomy, what [is this] autonomy? What does autonomy mean? The more it is administered in a mixed form, the more brothers co-exist together, the better for Turkey. Focusing on regions under the names of the Laz region, Kurdish region; no way. The Turkish nation will be everywhere. Everywhere will be the Turkish nation.
For instance, in a neighborhood there will be Bakhtashis, Alawites, Sunnis, Shias, Christians, Jews, Albanians, Kurds, Lazs, Circassians, Turks. All of them will exist together. We will live together as brothers.
Turkey will be divided into regions according to the races, right? The Laz region, the Kurdish region, the Zaza region, the Albanian region, the Turkish region. This would be the picture of devastation.
Such a horrible system does not exist even in fascism. Even fascists make an effort to unite. This is unacceptable. They must never make this proposal to us. It is on no account acceptable.
No government can ever do it, no human being can make it. You will even not imagine it.
THE AK PARTY HAS MADE ITS STANCE EXPLICIT. THEY SAID, “NO”. “SINGLE STATE, SINGLE FLAG, SINGLE NATION.” There is no point in bringing forward the same proposition over and over again. (Adnan Oktar, May 2nd, 2013: A9 TV)
