What He Said?What Happened?

Çay TV, July 23- 2008

Adnan Oktar:
Everybody considers the European Union to be very reasonable. They think that the Mediterranean Union is very reasonable, but not the union of our Turkic brothers. Let’s consider that if, may Allah forbid, Konya, Erzurum, Izmir were separate from us and we say that we have to unite since we are brothers, that would be a very reasonable thing to do.

Çay TV: It is just that normal you say.

Adnan Oktar: Just that normal. Our religion is one, our language is one, everything about us is one, we are from the same roots, we are brothers but we are separate. If said to Azerbaijan “let’s unite”, they don’t think for one day, they accept it. This has to be just proposed in an officially. We could easily unite as two states and one nation. There is no obstacle. This holds true for Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, Turkmenistan, East Turkestan; they would all be very comfortable as a result of this union, just like the whole Muslim community, like Iraq and Syria… THEY LOOK FORWARD TO UNITE WITH TURKEY. The only matter if for Turkey to put this forward, to give a name to it. Only a demand for it should be sufficient.

Visa liberation agreement between Syria and Turkey was signed fifteen days ago. President of Syria, Bashir Esad declared Turkey as the closest friend of Syria while Prime Minister of Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan addressed the Syrian people as “my brothers and sisters.”
