Surat an-Nisa', 91 (Hypocrites)

1346

YOU WILL FIND OTHERS WHO DESIRE TO BE SAFE FROM YOU AND SAFE FROM THEIR OWN PEOPLE. EACH TIME THEY ARE RETURNED TO CORRUPTION THEY ARE OVERWHELMED BY IT. If they do not keep away from you or submit to you or refrain from fighting, seize them and kill them wherever you find them. Over such people We have given you clear authority. (Surat an-Nisa’, 91)

The thing that the hypocrites focus on most is fitna (corruption). The entire Qur’an does not concern him. He just looks at what he can use against a Muslim. Teaching Islam, prevalence of Islam, loyalty, patience, unification of Muslims against disbelief, none of these concerns him. What concerns a hypocrite is living in comfort being away from danger. And he thinks only himself. While he thinks this way, he tries to appear being honest.
