What He Said?What Happened?

Regarding the death sentences for 529 people in Egypt, Mr. Adnan Oktar said that scholars and the Directorate of Religious Affairs should issue fatwas saying that it is haram to shed the blood of Muslims, otherwise this oppression wouldn’t end with the protests.

Right after that, the Head of the Directorate of Religious Affairs Mehmet Görmez Ezher, has called Seikh Al-Tayyip   to stop the executions. Hayrettin Karaman, a columnist from Yeni Şafak Newspaper also wrote that it is haram to kill unduly.

ADNAN OKTAR: Now, scholars, masters are issuing fatwas there. Ignorant and traditional scholars, ignorant and Orthodox scholars always take their side where the power is. They become the scholars of the powerful side.  They say that execution is necessary, warrantable, appropriate according to Quran, it is according to the hadiths. And the others say that, it is also lawful. That’s why they don’t listen to us. Fatwas should be issued telling that execution is haram, an opposite fatwa should be given. Most of the scholars in the Islamic world are in a deep sleep, they are sleeping. The Directorate of Religious Affairs should issue a fatwa. Otherwise they will hang, I am telling you. They don’t care about the protests.

ADNAN OKTAR: The reaction of the world is very important. The scholars should issue a fatwa. This is a very important topic. Five or ten scholars should come together and they should issue a fatwa. They should say that it is haram to shed a Muslim’s blood, and it is an oppression. They cannot come against that fatwa, the issue is locked there.

(AK Party Headquarters Youth Section has organized a protest all around the world, regarding the death sentences handed down against the 528 people in Egypt.)

ADNAN OKTAR: Well done to the guys. MashaAllah, that is how a Muslim should be. They should convince the scholars. They should make ten or twenty scholars issue  fatwas saying that it is haram to slaughter  Muslims like this. If they commit these murders, then they would martyr not only 500 but 5000 people. These people have gone mad. Firstly they should let those young girls go free, we must emphasize this. They have put the children into the cages, what a big immodesty, remorselessness: Are you putting an animal in a  cage?

Well, this is the calamity of the bigotry. They put Muslims in trouble and they stand aside.

The Head of the Directorate of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez wrote a letter to Ezher Sheik Prof. Dr. Ahmet Al-Tayyip about the executions, which have been a matter of debate lately in Egypt. He called Ezher Sheik Prof. Dr. Ahmet Al-Tayyip to duty by saying, ‘Today the most important duty is to stop the blood shed of Muslims and Egyptians.’

Hayrettin Karaman, a columnist from Yeni Şafak Newspaper, also wrote about the death sentences in Egypt: Fear of Allah is a result of faith in religion. And  none of  the divine religions allow to kill a person unjustly.

And in the Quran this is stated like this:

‘...unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the Earth – it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind.’(Surah Al Ma’ida, 32)
