Romania is removing the theory of evolution from the school curriculum

1276

Under a nationwide decision taken by the previous Romanian government in 2006, the origin of species and the theory of human evolution are no longer present in the country’s compulsory biology curriculum. Prior to that change, Darwin’s theory was taught to students at the age of 18 or 19. That was also the case under the communist regime, in the time of the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. Now, however, the curriculum has been altered, with this so-called theory being left merely as a voluntary option.

One biology teacher from Bucharest stated, “We don"t teach the theory of evolution anymore.” Instead of the theory of evolution, students learn about human ecology and useful information about the environment.

Again in 2006, the Ministry of Education and Research removed various philosophers whose writings were insufficiently respectful of religion from the compulsory philosophy curriculum.

The Romanian government’s sensitivity on the subject of religion certainly represents a most excellent model. In the 21st century, 100 million ready-present fossils have proved that living things have remained unchanged for many millions of years and that they were created with exactly the same structures they have today. Thanks to modern and advanced branches of science it has today been realized that the theory of evolution is nothing more than nonsense. Almighty Allah (God) reveals in the verses of the Qur’an that falsehood is always condemned to elimination:

Rather We hurl the truth against falsehood and it cuts right through it and it vanishes clean away! Woe without end for you for what you portray! Everyone in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Those in His presence do not consider themselves too great to worship Him and do not grow tired of it. (Surat al-Anbiya’, 18-19)
