There is no compulsion where deen is concerned. Right guidance has become clearly distinct from error. Anyone who rejects false deities and believes in Allah has grasped the Firmest Handhold, which will never give way. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara, 256)
Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair admonition, and argue with them in the kindest way. Your Lord knows best who is misguided from His way. And He knows best who are guided. (Surat an-Nahl, 125)
Another verse states, "... It is the truth from your Lord; so let whoever wishes believe and whoever wishes do not believe..." (Surat al-Kahf, 29)
We know best what they say. You are not a dictator over them. So remind, with the Qur'an, whoever fears My Threat. (Surah Qaf, 45)
"If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have believed. Do you think you can force people to be believers?" (Surah Yunus, 99)
“But most people, for all your eagerness, are not muminun. You do not ask them for any wage for it. It is only a reminder to all beings.” (Surah Yusuf, 103-104)
“Argue with the People of the Book only in the kindest way--except in the case of those of them who do wrong--saying, "We believe in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you. Our God and your God are One and we submit to Him." (Surat al-‘Ankabut, 46)
The only responsibility of a believer is to call people to the Qur’an. He bears no responsibility for deniers persisting in their denial and therefore earning punishment in the Hereafter. Our Lord reveals this to the Prophet (pbuh) in the verse “We have sent you with the Truth, bringing good news and giving warning. Do not ask about the inhabitants of the Blazing Fire.”(Surat al-Baqara, 119).
“So remind them! You are only a reminder. You are not in control of them. But as for anyone who turns away and is unbeliever, Allah will punish him with the Greatest Punishment. Certainly it is to Us they will return. Then their Reckoning is Our concern. “(Surat al-Ghashiyya: 21-26)
"I do not worship what you worship, and you do not worship what I worship. Nor will I worship what you worship, nor will you worship what I worship. You have your religion, and I have my religion." (Surah Qaf, 2-6)
“... If Allah had not driven some people back by means of others, [then] monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where Allah's name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. Allah will certainly help those who help Him--Allah is All-Strong, Almighty.” (Surat al-Hajj, 40)
Say: “Shall I tell you of a reward with Allah far worse than that: that of those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He is angry – turning some of them into monkeys and into pigs – and who worshipped false deities? Such people are in a worse situation and further from the right way.” (Surat al-Ma’ida, 60)
They are hatching a plot. I too am hatching a plot. So bear with the unbelievers – bear with them for a while. (Surat at-Tariq, 15-17)
I have read two books this week; the first was written by Harun Yahya, the well-known Turkish Muslim intellectual. His tens of books have been translated into more than 15 languages and have been used as reference text all over the world in both Islamic and non-Islamic societies. The title of the book is ‘Seeing Good in All.’ He describes how a Muslim with high moral quality sees good in all things and all events. We often hear ‘there is a blessing behind every calamity,’ and there is a solution to every problem, there is ease with every difficulty.
Harun Yahya described this in great detail and in this holy month of Ramadan it is useful to read this book as a means of reflection as we seek to perfect our faith and personality.
“The Church of England has prepared a prayer for the economic crisis which burst in the USA and spread over Europe. The prayer named 'Prayer for current financial situation', written by Revd Peter Moger, the Archbishops' Council’s National Worship Development Officer, has been published on the Church of England website. More prayers for those who worry about their household budget and being in debt, hence seek for spiritual consolation are already available on the Church’s website.

That Day, no one will punish as He punishes and no one will shackle as He shackles. ( Surat al-Fajr, 89:25-26)
If the hypocrites and those with a sickness in their hearts and the rumor-mongers in Madina do not desist, We will set you upon them. Then they will only be your neighbors there for a very short time. They are an accursed people. Wherever they are found, they should be seized and mercilessly put to death. This is Allah's pattern with those who passed away before. You will not find any alteration in Allah's pattern. ( Surat al-Ahzab, 33:60-62)
But as for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful punishment. ( Surat al-Isra', 10)However, we need to remember that Allah creates infinite opportunities for each of us to repent and take refuge in His mercy. When we turn to Him in sincere repentance we will find our Lord to be the most merciful and compassionate, regardless of what type of sins one has committed. Allah gives the good news of His infinite mercy to His servants who sincerely repent:
But as for those who are deviators, their refuge is the Fire. Every time that they want to get out, they are put straight back into it again and are told: “Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you denied.” We will give them a taste of lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that hopefully they will turn back. ( Surat as-Sajda, 20-21)
Tell My servants that I am the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful, but also that My punishment is the Painful Punishment. ( Surat al-Hijr, 49-50)
Those before them also plotted, and Allah came at their building from the foundations and the roof caved in on top of them. The punishment came at them from where they did not expect. ( Surat an-Nahl, 26)
As for those who were unbelievers and barred access to the way of Allah, We will heap punishment on top of their punishment because of the corruption they brought about. ( Surat an-Nahl, 88)
But if anyone repents after his wrongdoing and puts things right, Allah will turn toward him. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( Surat al-Ma'ida, 39)
But I am Ever-Forgiving to anyone who repents, believes, acts rightly, and then is guided. (Surah Ta Ha, 82)
What He Said In his statements, Adnan Oktar says it is essential for Muslims to have a spiritual leader and for the whole Turkish-Islamic world to gather around that spiritual leader, and that it is Turkey that must assume this role of leader and guide. Adnan Oktar notes that the historic and social realities impose this great duty on Turkey, that the Turkish-Islamic Union will soon be established, that all Muslims will unite around Turkey and that the Turkish nation will perform highly important tasks. The current developments are a sign that these positive developments foretold by Adnan Oktar have slowly begun to take place. Al Baghdadi TV, April 30-2008 Adnan Oktar: It is a sin for Muslims not to be united and act as one. And sin is a spiritual burden. In the eyes of the Qur’an it is obligatory for Muslims to act together, to be brothers, to be one another’s brothers and to gather around a single leader. Muslims are not doing this. As they do not do this, the door is open to all kinds of scourges. Muslims must fulfill this obligation. THAT IS WHY I SAY A TURKISH-ISLAMIC UNION MUST BE ESTABLISHED UNDER TURKISH LEADERSHIP, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE TURKISH NATION. Every state can remain as a separate nation state. EVERY STATE WILL BE ABLE TO ACT FREELY DOMESTICALLY, BUT THEY NEED TO HAVE A SPIRITUAL LEADER. Because the Christians have a leader, the Pope. Muslims must also have a spiritual leader. If there is a leader at the head of this spiritual union, this chaos and strife can easily come to an end. In that event, since Muslims will act as one if the hair of Muslims’ heads are harmed anywhere in the world, they will immediately put a stop to the incident. But if they are fragmented, if they act in a way that leaves them open to a policy of divide and rule, then of course it will be easy to swallow up all the small parts. But it is impossible to swallow the Muslim world as a single blok. Muslims must fulfill this obligation straight away. Adnan Oktar: It is going very well. There is no chaos or conflict or anything else behind it. THERE IS SOLELY ENLIGHTENMENT. TURKEY’S BEING A SUPER-STATE. TURKEY WILL BE THE LEADER OF THE TURKISH-ISLAMIC WORLD IN 10-15 YEARS. I SAY THIS OPENLY, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, THAT IT WILL BE THE LEADER, THE SPIRITUAL LEADER, OF THE WHOLE REGION. What Happened Vatan, February 4-2009 JOY IN THE ARAB PRESS, CRITICISM IN THE WEST Habervitrini, February 4-2009 DAR AL-HAYAT: LET US DECLARE ERDOGAN CALIPH An article by Jihad al Hazen in the newspaper Dar al- Hayat, which is printed in Lebanon and widely respected throughout the Arab world, was full of praise for Erdoğan: "As a Muslim, Erdoğan has made us proud. We were shamed to be Arabs because of our leaders’ silence in the face of the Israeli oppression. ERDOĞAN HAS SALVAGED OUR HONOR. THE OTTOMAN STATE MUST BE ESTABLISHED ONCE AGAIN... (ERDOĞAN) MUST BECOME THE LEADER OF ALL MUSLIMS.” "Following Erdoğan’s storming off the platform, an Arab businessman I meet at Davos every year told me: The Turkish prime minister has made me proud to be a Muslim, but ashamed to be an Arab. I want to repeat what I told a Turkish television channel that asked for my opinion in the wake of the event. As an Arab, I extend my greetings to Erdoğan. I would like to see THE RETURN OF THE OTTOMAN STATE and to elect Erdoğan as caliph. Thanks Erdoğan. |
