THE GOLDEN AGE

The End Times (or the Last Days) may not be a familiar concept to many people. Therefore, we first give a brief explanation of it. The End Times means "the last era." According to Islamic literature, this period of time is close to Doomsday, during which we will witness the prevalence of the Qur'an's morality and widespread adherence to religious values.
Towards the end of this period, all conditions that ensure a peaceful and safe life will be established, and the misery that marked the previous periods will be replaced will wealth, abundance, and justice. All forms of immorality, fraud, and degeneration will end. This is the blessed period, marked by Islamic morality, for which all people of faith have longed for centuries.
The Hadith literature and the works of Muslim scholars contain extensive references to this period. These descriptions indicate that, following great corruption and outrage, Earth will enter upon a period of salvation characterized by bounty and blessings due to the prevalence of true religion. In this period, science, medicine, and technology will advance to a unprecedented degree and provide extensive benefits humanity, and the understanding of art will flourish in an unprecedented way.

During the early phases of the End Times, moral degeneration will become all-pervasive due to the influence of some philosophical systems such as atheism, materialism and racism. Humanity will forget the reason for its existence and thus enter the downward spiral of spiritual purposelessness and moral degeneration. Great disasters will occur one after another. Wars and insurmountable trouble will cause humanity to seek the answer to the question: "Is there a way out?" But Allah will save people from this great turmoil and enable them to enter a blessed period. Actually, such a blessed period applies to each community at all times, provided its members abide by the Qur'an's morality. Allah has always granted great blessings to His servants who, out of their awe and consciousness of Him, comply meticulously with His commands. He causes such people to live in abundance.
What we know about the End Times comes from our Prophet's (saas) words and the works of Muslim scholars. There is no reason to doubt the authenticity of these resources, for the Hadith literature provides detailed descriptions about this period. The facts that such detailed accounts were provided 14 centuries ago and that all these happenings occurred one after another within a particular period of time is a miracle in itself, and thereby removes any misgivings regarding the origin of these words.
Indeed, since Allah gives us some information related to the End Times, such as the global prevalence of the Qur'an's morality or Jesus' second coming to Earth, we have no reason to doubt its accuracy. In the following verse, Allah gives the good news that the Qur'an's morality will pervade Earth:
Allah has promised those of you who believe and do right actions that He will make them successors in the land, as He made those before them successors, and will firmly establish for them their religion, with which He is pleased, and give them, in place of their fear, security. "They worship Me, not associating anything with Me." Any who are unbelievers after that, such people are deviators. (Surat an-Nur: 55)
Many verses refer to the global prevalence of the Qur'an's values in the Golden Age, the latter years of the End Times. These verses have great parallels with our Prophet's (saas) sayings related to the Golden Age. Clearly, this prevalence is a sign of the Golden Age described by our Prophet (saas), for such an event has not occurred yet.
Many hadiths indicate the existence of a period when the Qur'an's values will pervade Earth. This period, known as the Golden Age, will last for more than half a century and, in many ways, will resemble the Blessed Period of our Prophet (saas). We call this period the Golden Age due to our Prophet's (saas) Paradise-like depictions of it. It will be marked by the abundance of every type of goods and crops, the establishment of security, justice, peace, and happiness; and the use of advanced technology for humanity's comfort, ease, joy, and peace. No one will be in need, for all goods and services will be available to satisfy all people's material needs. Many hadiths say that "weapons will be silenced," and thus herald a world filled with peace. In the Golden Age, enemy nations will become brothers and sisters and re-establish peace, friendship, and love among their leaders and peoples.
Technology will reach its peak, and people will receive its fullest benefits. Medicine, agriculture, communication, transportation, and industry will undergo remarkable development, and people will continuously witness new discoveries. Each discovery will become an impetus for another and thereby contribute to the overall acceleration of discoveries.
The arts will flourish, and the broad horizons and deep thinking granted by faith in Allah will advance all branches of art. Such a spirit will enable people to produce glamorous works of music, theater, and painting. According to one hadith, people will be so content that they will spend their days with no idea as to how time passes and how one day turns into the next. They will pray to Allah to prolong their lives in order to receive more benefits from these graces. Another Prophetic hadith states that "the younger ones wish they were grown-ups, while the adults wish they were younger… The good become even more good, and the wicked ones are treated well." HIDDEN POWER IN
THE STRUCTURE OF THE ATOM

Air, water, mountains, animals, plants, your body, the armchair in which you sit, in short, everything, from the smallest to the largest thing that you see, touch and feel, are made up of atoms. Both of your hands and also this book you're holding now are made up of atoms. Atoms are particles so small that it is impossible to see even one of them with using our most powerful microscope. The diameter of a single atom is one-millionth of a millimeter.

It is not possible for a man to visualize such an immensely tiny scale. Therefore, let us try to approach it using an example. Assume that you hold a key in your hand. Undoubtedly, it is not possible for you to see the atoms of this key. In order to see them, let's assume that we bring the size of this key to the size of the Earth itself. Once the key becomes as large as the earth, then each atom inside the key is the size of a cherry, and so we could finally see them. (1)
What then exists in such a small structure? In spite of its small size, inside an atom exists a perfect, unique and complex system. Every atom consists of a central nucleus and electrons revolving around the nucleus in very distant orbits. The nucleus is located at the center of the atom and contains a certain number of protons and neutrons according to the characteristics of the atom.

The radius of the nucleus is about a ten-thousandth of the radius of the atom. Now, let's search for the nucleus of the cherry-size atoms as we enlarge the key to the dimensions of the globe as we mentioned above.
But this search is futile because it is certainly impossible for us, even at this scale, to observe a nucleus, which is still amazingly small. For us to be able to see the nucleus, the cherry that represents the atom must be enlarged once again until it becomes a giant ball measuring 200 meters (656 feet) in diameter. In spite of this incredible dimension, the nucleus of the atom will still be no larger than a speck of dust. (2)
Yet, it is quite amazing that, although the volume of the nucleus is about ten-billionth of that of the atom, its mass constitutes fully 99.5% of the mass of the atom. But how, then, does a thing, on the one hand, constitute almost the whole mass while it does not, on the other, take up almost any space? The reason is that the density of an atom, which constitutes its mass, is concentrated in the nucleus of the atom. What provides this is the force called the strong nuclear force. By means of this force, the nucleus of the atom is kept together without being scattered.
What we have recounted so far are only a few details about the perfect system that exists in a single atom. In fact, an atom contains an extensive structure on which entire volumes of books can be written. However, even the few details we mentioned here are enough for us to see its magnificent creation and the fact that Allah created it.

EVOLUTION DECEIT - II

THE DESPERATE EFFORTS OF EVOLOTUIONISTS
Darwin's theory entered into a deep crisis because of the laws of genetics discovered in the first quarter of the 20th century. Nevertheless, a group of scientists who were determined to remain loyal to Darwin endeavoured to come up with solutions. They came together in a meeting organised by the Geological Society of America in 1941.
This cadre focused on the question of the origin of the advantageous variations that supposedly caused living organisms to evolve-an issue that Darwin himself was unable to explain but simply tried to side-step by depending on Lamarck. The idea was now "random mutations". They named this new theory "The Modern Synthetic Evolution Theory", which was formulated by adding the concept of mutation to Darwin's natural selection thesis. In a short time, this theory came to be known as "neo-Darwinism" and those who put forward the theory were called "neo-Darwinists".
The following decades were to become an era of desperate attempts to prove neo-Darwinism. It was already known that mutations-or "accidents" -that took place in the genes of living organisms were always harmful. Neo-Darwinists tried to establish a case for "advantageous mutation" by carrying out thousands of mutation experiments. All their attempts ended in complete failure. They also tried to prove that the first living organisms could have originated by chance under primitive terrestrial conditions that the theory posited but the same failure attended these experiments too.

If they had been discovered before Darwin put forward his theory, Darwin might easily have recognised that his theory was totally unscientific and might not have attempted to advance such meaningless claims. The information determining the species already exists in the genes and it is impossible for natural selection to produce new species through alterations in the genes.  Similarly, the world of science in those days had a very shallow and crude understanding of the structure and functions of the cell. If Darwin had had the chance to view the cell with an electron microscope, he would have witnessed the great complexity and extraordinary structure in the organelles of the cell. He would have beheld with his own eyes that it would not be possible for such an intricate and complex system to occur through minor variations. If he had known about bio-mathematics, then he would have realised that not even a single protein molecule, let alone a whole cell, could not have come into existence by chance. |
Neo-Darwinist theory is also defeated by the fossil record. No "transitional forms", which were supposed to show the gradual evolution of living organisms from primitive to advanced species as the neo-Darwinist theory claimed, have ever been found anywhere in the world. At the same time, comparative anatomy revealed that species that were supposed to have evolved from one another had in fact very different anatomical features and that they could never have been ancestors or descendants of each other.
But neo-Darwinism was never a scientific theory anyway, but was an ideological dogma if not to say some sort of "religion". This is why the champions of the theory of evolution still go on defending it in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. One thing they cannot agree on however is which of the different models proposed for the realisation of evolution is the "right" one. One of the most important of these models is the fantastic scenario known as "punctuated equilibrium".
Most of the scientists who believe in evolution accept the neo-Darwinist theory of slow, gradual evolution. In recent decades, however, a different model has been proposed. Called "punctuated equilibrium", this model maintains that living species came about not through a series of small changes, as Darwin had maintained, but by sudden, large ones.

The first vociferous defenders of this notion appeared at the beginning of the 1970s. Two American paleontologists, Niles Eldredge and Stephen Jay Gould, were well aware that the claims of the neo-Darwinist theory were absolutely refuted by the fossil record. Fossils proved that living organisms did not originate by gradual evolution, but appeared suddenly and fully-formed. Neo-Darwinists were living with the fond hope-they still do-that the lost transitional forms would one day be found. Realising that this hope was groundless, Eldredge and Gould were nevertheless unable to abandon their evolutionary dogma, so they put forward a new model: punctuated equilibrium. This is the claim that evolution did not take place as a result of minor variations but rather in sudden and great changes.
This model was nothing but a model for fantasies. For instance, European paleontologist O.H. Shindewolf, who led the way for Eldredge and Gould, claimed that the first bird came out of a reptile egg, as a "gross mutation", that is, as a result of a huge "accident" that took place in the genetic structure. According to the same theory, some land-dwelling animals could have turned into giant whales having undergone a sudden and comprehensive transformation. These claims, totally contradicting all the rules of genetics, biophysics, and biochemistry are as scientific as the fairy tales about frogs turning into princes! Nevertheless, being distressed by the crisis that the neo-Darwinist assertion was in, some evolutionist paleontologists embraced this theory, which had the distinction of being even more bizarre than neo-Darwinism itself.
The only purpose of this model was to provide an explanation of the gaps in the fossil-record that the neo-Darwinist model could not explain. However, it is hardly rational to attempt to explain the fossil gap in the evolution of birds with a claim that "a bird popped all of a sudden out of a reptile egg", because by the evolutionists' own admission, the evolution of a species to another species requires a great and advantageous change in genetic information. However, no mutation whatsoever improves the genetic information or adds new information to it. Mutations only derange genetic information. Thus the "gross mutations" imagined by the punctuated equilibrium model would only cause "gross", that is "great", reductions and impairments in the genetic information.
Moreover, the model of "punctuated equilibrium" collapses from the very first step by its inability to address the question of the origin of life, which is also the question that refutes the neo-Darwinist model from the outset. Since not even a single protein can have originated by chance, the debate over whether organisms made up of trillions of those proteins have undergone a "punctuated" or "gradual" evolution is senseless.
