A9 TV: May 30th 2012 Adnan Oktar: Istanbul will be conquered because Hz. Mahdi will appear for it. Muslims knew that Hz. Mahdi would appear here, Hz. Prophet (PBUH) knew it too, he told us about it. There are more than ten hadiths telling us Hz. Mahdi will emerge in Istanbul; those hadiths tell us that he will emerge in Constantinople. In the Old Testament again it says he will appear in Rome, in the Eastern Roman Empire whose capital was Istanbul. In fact, they ask “where should we look for Shilo” and the answer is “look for him within the gates of Rome”. They asked where they could look for the Mahdi three thousand years ago and the companions of the Prophet were looking for him among the rows of people praying. A9 TV: June 25th 2012 Adnan Oktar: Hz. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi clearly and openly says ‘Hz. Mahdi (PBUH) will appear in Istanbul’. He makes clear the date, “he will appear in 1400, the year of the Hegira” he explains. ‘”He will eradicate Darwinism and materialism” he says. Islam prevails, all Muslims go pledge allegiance to him, and he becomes the leader of Muslims and becomes the imam of the world. He becomes the imam of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim worlds. What are you doing?” So Muhammad the Conqueror decided not to conquer the city. Then Akşemseddin said, “What are you doing?” and he said “You will conquer the city physically, Hz. Mahdi (PBUH) will conquer it spiritually” and he added “It’s in your destiny.” In fact he gave the date and time of the conquest and Istanbul was conquered at the time and date that was said by Akşemseddin. There are thousands of cities. Why did Hz. Prophet (PBUH) tell us about Istanbul, he told of no other place but Istanbul. Hz. Prophet (PBUH) stated the place openly, the place where Hz. Mahdi (PBUH) will appear. They ask “Where did you get this idea from?” Hundreds of books, hundreds of hadith talk about it, that’s it. “Constantinople will be spiritually conquered by Hz. Mahdi”. This is the first reason for my conviction. The second, but the main reason for my conviction, is based on the hadiths that state that the appearance of the Mahdi will be in Istanbul; there are many hadiths about it. It is stated as Constantinople. There are many hadiths that Turks will take part in this. There are many hadiths stating that the Mahdi will emerge from among the Turks. When we look from the perspective of historical conditions, it looks that way. When we look from the perspective of social conditions, it looks that way, from the current perspective of general history; again Turkey looks to be a natural leader. |
