Mr. Devlet Bahceli: “The PKK Never Buries their Weapons under Concrete; the State Should Hand Them Over”

What He Said?What Happened?

Mr. Adnan Oktar frequently states that the PKK will never lay down their arms, that they will never bury their weapons under concrete and that the state should disarm the PKK. Furthermore, Mr. Oktar highlights, on a number of occasions, that the PKK and Ocalan can never be excused, that those who have committed a crime should be arrested while those who have not been involved in any crime should be released.

Mr. Devlet Bahceli made a similar statement to that of Mr. Oktar and said that the PYD is no different from the PKK and that the PKK will never lay down their arms.

(There is a press statement by John Kirby, the Spokesperson at the United States Department of State, Mr. Oktar. He stated that the United States does not consider the YPG as a terrorist group.)

ADNAN OKTAR: ....The founders of the PYD and the PKK are one and the same. They have the same ideology, the same leader and everything else. The Turkish Courts’ ruling is clear: "The YPG is a terrorist group." That is enough.

ADNAN OKTAR: What a painful incident! The police make great effort to arrest a PKK militant, supposing that that PKK militant injured a soldier or made the nose of a soldier bleed.  However, this is not considered as a reason for arrest since the report for arrest can be received only for three-days which entails the release of the militant by the court pending  trial. Then, the militant martyrs a soldier. There should be a law that renders that if any member of the PKK has ever carried out any action, the state should not release him from the prison.

ADNAN OKTAR: Making incessant arrests would cripple the PKK. Also, a member of the PKK is arrested and then released. Why would you ever let a member of the PKK go? That member receives training there, and then they carries on his activities. Do not let them go. However, if a member has joined the PKK because of his fear for the organization, then, this is something else. The state should educate them in the prison day and night. The state should provide them information on loudspeakers and tell them.  There should be a provision of information on the PKK, and the state should provide them books on the love of nation, the love of country, and the love of flag. The thing that would cripple the PKK most is to arrest them.  Once  five thousand people or ten are arrested, they would be done. You would deal a death blow to the PKK.

ADNAN OKTAR: How can a young woman be linked to a weapon or to a murder? Would that be ever possible? However, those who have got involved in any crime or murder are certainly killers. In other words, I do not forgive them in any way. They should serve their time in prison. If they are accused of murder, then there is no other way. They should serve a life sentence. There is nothing that can change it.

I have a deep love for the members of the PKK who have not committed any crimes or who were kidnapped by the terror organisation.

It is apparent that they did not commit any crimes and that they were kidnapped with force. If they want to escape, the state should help them. For instance, a team of forty maroon berets may sneak over there. They can offer the young women a chance to escape. They can rescue all of them by an air-powered operation, by a helicopter.

ADNAN OKTAR: Is not the YPG on the terror list? If not, it is terrible. Since they declare: "We are affiliated to the PKK." Moreover, there is a court ruling that the YPG is a terrorist group. International organizations have provided similar statements. They hang the pictures of Abdullah Ocalan anyway. They walk around with the flags of the PKK. They fusilladed Turkmens. They are still fusillading Arabs, compelling them to abandon their villages. PYD, YPG, YPJ, PJAK, are all the PKK itself. All of them are the PKK, changing names is truly a terrible tactic.

ADNAN OKTAR: Since they do not bury their weapons under concrete and will never do that? All of the senior members of the PKK made differing statements: They say: “What are you talking about?" Laying down our weapons is never in question, and you should forget about that." Therefore, THE STATE SHOULD TAKE THEM FROM THEIR HANDS AND BURY THEM UNDER CONCRETE. For instance, the state carries out a search there, and a member carrying a weapon is arrested. The police hands over the weapon. He does not say "please, take the weapon and bury it under concrete." The police also arrests him with the weapon. This is the procedure. YOU SHOULD HUNT DOWN AND TAKE THEIR WEAPONS AWAY; that is how the issue would be resolved. The militant should also be arrested.

September 25th 2014, A9 TV

ADNAN OKTAR:  They [the PKK] should come and surrender to the Turkish State. They would be punished in accordance with the relevant laws. Those who have not committed a crime would be released. In other words, this is all.

In a television program Mr. Devlet Bahceli remarked that the PYD is no different from the PKK. He said that the government must not let the establishment of another state on the Turkish border.

Bahceli said: "Burying the weapons under concrete makes absolutely no sense. Those weapons would be taken away from the concrete. All of the weapons should be handed over to the state and inventoried as state property.  It is also necessary to arrest those who have committed a crime and release those who have not involved in any crime.
