Adnan Oktar: A Turkish-Islamic Union under Turkish leadership will come about with the unification of the Turkic states, insha’Allah. This will be through Turkish leadership, and that is the direction we are moving in. The ideal thing is for Turkey to be the leader. Every country will remain a separate state, but there will be a spiritual union, insha’Allah, like the European Union. Passports and visas will be done away with and countries will be able to trade freely and be brothers... The unification of the Turkish-Islamic world will take place in the next 10 to 15 years at most, insha’Allah. This is a duty that has been incumbent on Turkey for a long time. We have seen it during all governments. Turkey has always assumed the de facto leadership of the Turkish-Islamic world. It has made this felt everywhere. It manifests its role of older brother everywhere, either directly or indirectly. Turkey gets involved whenever there is a disagreement. Turkey got involved in the establishment of the Caucasian Alliance, for instance. Turkey acts as intermediary when there are disagreements between other countries. Turkish leadership is obvious, whether it be the oil pipeline project, the natural gas pipeline project or other projects. Turkey is effectively doing this with no official statement being made, and this will continue and grow.
