A bilateral agreement between Turkey and Ecuador to eliminate visa requirements has come into effect, granting citizens the right to travel between the two nations without obtaining a tourist visa. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Ecuadorian Deputy Foreign Minister Rafael Lopez signed the agreement in Ankara on July 6th, 2011. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia announced that as of December the 10th, 2011, Turkey and Georgian Citizens are going to travel between the two nations with only identity cards instead of passports. |
